IT'S BEEN A WEEK since that tremor smashed into the Pack Bond and shook them all to the core; a week since their normal lives were thrown into the mess they're in now. Every member of my Pack is in panic mode, and they're hardly coping. All components of my being are working together in cohesion, and, as Felicity said, I have become much stronger. They're all within me, begging for a battle - to tear those who want our family dead apart; to make them feel our pain.
In spite of that, we've discovered that Furu is in fact a Concept - she is Humanity. Despite her only being a half-blooded Kitsune, she is still my daughter - the daughter of a beast - and must bear a Mark that shows her as one. Each Concept has a distinct physical Mark that tells other supernatural beings what they are, and to be wary of them and their parents. They can be located anywhere on a Concept's body, and can be any colour or size. However, unless they know that they are a Concept, their Mark will being hidden until it is realised by the Concept themselves, not the people around them.
Furu's Concept Mark is a deep red heart, representing Humanity, on her inner left wrist. Ina's and Max's are probably the most understandable - with hers being a black moon symbolising Dark, and his being a vermilion sun symbolising Light - both located on their inner right wrists. Niall quite obviously has a silver scythe, while Felicity has what looks like woven lines in a multitude of colours, and Sarah has a brilliant black and blue rose - all located on their right shoulder blade. Maia has a scattering of multi-coloured stars on her left shoulder blade that signify her as Time, and Jerome has Yin behind his right ear. His Mate, Alaska, or Peace, is said to have Yang behind hers.
