HIS BROWN EYES ARE full of horror and pain, his mouth open in a silent scream, and his hands shaking as they hover around the stake protruding from his chest. Knees shaking, his legs give out from beneath him and he falls to his knees on the pavement, choked sounds leaving him. Blood streams from where the stake is stabbed, and the vivacious red liquid begins to stream from his mouth, mixed with saliva and venom. His body is ablaze with pain, and it's flying through the Pack Bond, his Mate Bond and the Blood Brother Bond, the pain twice as bad for those of us who are his Brothers.
An agonised scream leaves Davina and she falls to the ground, clutching her chest and sending the Hunters around her flying away from her at the powerful release of Magic. Her head falls forward and tears of blood stream down her face, falling onto the tar, making it hiss and spit like acid. Kai speeds over to his Brother and holds Kol close, hand hovering over the wound on his chest, and tears running down his face. Theo staggers over to Kol's broken form and falls to his knees, hands shaking as he lays his hands on Kol's arm, the other hand gripping Kol's.
Kemuri lets out a pained roar and slashes down the Hunters surrounding him, letting the pain inside fuel his actions. Blood splatters over me and the ground, the hot liquid sliding off my grey skin with ease and joining the rest on the tar. Magic flows from Kai's palm and into Kol's dying body, but it's not working, despite how much every single one of us wants it. Time seems to still as I fly over to them, cradling my descendant/younger brother's head in my lap, fighting the overwhelming desire to cry in this moment. Kol stares up at me and smiles, his shaking hand lifting up. I gently take it in my mangled one and give it a squeeze.
"You hold on, alright, Kol?" I urge, my eyes beginning to burn. "This is not your time, brother. You still have centuries to live yet, and you have a Mate to live for - you have a family and a Pack to live for."
Kol coughs, blood spraying out of his mouth. "Stiles... There's no stopping this." His skin begins to turn light grey and his veins become more prominent. "I'm dying, and I'm glad to be doing it by your side."
"No. You're not dying. Your mother refuses to let you die, and so do I. We're going to bring you back."
"Let me die this time, brother. I've lived enough, and I've died too many times."
"Shut up and let us heal you, you stubborn bastard," Kai curses, his voice shaking as tears work their way down his blood spattered face. "Don't you dare fucking die."
Theo nods his head in agreement, his blue eyes full of unshed tears and pain. "Don't you die on us, Kol. We need you - we all need you."
Kol chuckles, the sound being cut off by more coughs, and the grey growing up his neck. "I'm touched, darlings. You actually care about little old me?"
Before any of us can make a smart joke or jab, his eyes turn lifeless as his once lively pink skin turns a deathly grey, his body becoming stiff and cold in our arms. Wave upon wave upon wave of pain smashes into me, Kai, Theo, Kemuri, and Davina, and everyone else in the Pack, making us scream out in agony. It's almost so great that we miss the pain from several more members of our Pack dying. Scott, Malia, Kira, and Aiden fall to the ground with loud squelches in quick succession, and Mason explodes into chunks as one of the Hunters' sticky bombs goes off on him, making Corey wail in agony, falling to his knees and clutching at his chest.
All around me there is pain, and no way to fix it in the heat of battle. Well, there is one way, but the Pack need to get back into the house and to safety. Kai and Theo nod, carefully picking up their fallen Brother and carrying him inside, yelling for everyone to fall back, leaving me to face the army threatening the lives of everyone I love. Derek stares at me in horror once he realises what I am planning, and fights against Cayden as he is dragged back into the house, Lydia in a similar predicament with Serenity. Ina and Max reluctantly follow their mother and uncle, and Izabella and Alek fight their own desire to remain by my side, only to be dragged away by Jerome, Alaska, and Maia, all in pain and full of misery and conflict. Eve, Augustus, and Kemuri soon follow, realising exactly what I am planning.
What remains of the Beacon Hills Pack retreats with them, Isaac's worried purple eyes staring at me for a second before he carries a wounded Allison into the Mikaelson house. Furu screams and fights against Sasayaki's hold as she is dragged away from me, her grey eye shining brilliantly. Jesse grits his teeth but turns and follows his Mate inside, the Winchesters and their Angel not too far behind. The Original family hardly hesitate to go inside, wanting to be with their dead sibling to mourn him. Niall, Felicity, and Sarah send me one last look before forcing themselves to walk away, closing the doors behind them as they enter the building.
Jordan smirks, not knowing what I am planning on doing. "You've sent away everyone, Mieczyslaw, and now you have no one. Your Pack Mates and Blood Bonded are dead, and this is what you do? You sacrifice yourself only for them to die in the end? What a noble Alpha."
I grin maliciously at him. "That's right. I am the Alpha of this Pack. What is it that they say about Alphas, Jordan?"
His eyes widen in realisation that it is too late for him to do anything.
"Alphas are the strongest members of the Pack, and, if you fuck with them, you're dead."
I throw my arms out to the sides and a brilliant white light surrounds me, my feet slowly lifting off the ground as I rise into the air. Grinning down at the man I once called brother, I see the utter terror in his eyes. Twenty different colour spheres form a circle around me, and, in each one, there is a different kind of supernatural creature waiting to be released to slaughter the ones who dared attack their Pack. My eyes become a dangerous mix of red, black, and silver, and the white light surrounding me harshens, blinding the Hunters and Jordan, but I be careful enough not to hurt Mei in this attack. She can still be saved.
