Taehyung is already having a headache looking around the library. There are just tons of shelves of books and tables to look at.

His grades weren't really high when he transferred from another school, so their adviser told him that he set him up with the school's tutoring program, and he ended up being under their school's top student care.

He sighed when he finally reached the deepest part of the library, where there were fewer students studying, and he saw the person he had been looking for.

"You're late."

He mentally rolled his eyes at what he heard as soon as he approached her. He had messaged her earlier, asking where she was, but she didn't bother replying to him.

"I'm sorry." He just gave in and sat on the chair in front of her while her eyes were still glued on the science book she was reading.

Not like the usual geek type, she isn't wearing thick glasses that would make her eyes look small or a very neat-looking uniform. She's the complete opposite of what he thought.

Maybe it was just his stereotypical ass talking.

She finally looked at him after minutes of ignoring him to finish the book she was reading.

"I prepared a quiz to test your knowledge so that I would know where to start on tutoring you. Please take your time to answer. We're in no rush," she said as she carefully slid a paper out of a folder and placed it in front of him.

Taehyung took a pen out of his bag before he answered the questionnaire. He had absolutely no idea about the other questions since he really didn't focus in class before.

After some time — almost an hour of answering the 50-item quiz, he handed it to her. He might have no idea about the other question, but he's confident with some of his answers.

His lips turned to a pout when he saw her mark almost every single answer wrong.

"Wow, you're so bad," she muttered, still surprised that there's a high school student who has the same IQ level as a grade school student.

Taehyung scratches his nape in awkwardness. Embarrassed about getting 0/50 in basic knowledge.

"This wouldn't do. We need to fix your schedule again. You and I would meet up right here, every single day," she said, tapping her pointed finger against the table that separates the two of them.

Taehyung's eyes widen. "What? But why? It's supposed to be three times a week."

She raised a brow and eyed him as if he had said something wrong. She lifted up the questionnaire and showed him his mark.

"Are you really going to complain with this grade? Dude, you'll be stuck here in high school if you don't take this seriously." She even emphasizes the word really.

He heaved a sigh and just accepted his fate. He knew that the girl just wanted to help him. But studying isn't really his cup of tea. Well, he used to be a great student before, but then he lost it after his biological dad died.

"Look, I'm busy too, okay? But I wouldn't turn a blind eye if I saw someone doing this badly," she said.

"I know. Stop telling me how stupid I am," he responded.

"I didn't call you stupid. You're not. No one is. You just need a little bit of studying, then you're good to go. I promise, I'll do my best to help you get good grades. No cheating though. I don't do that."
