Jennie was busy rummaging inside their stock room when Taehyung suddenly rushed in while panting.
"Taehyung? Why are you all sweaty?" she asked in confusion as she turned to find more brushes and paints.
"You scared me!" he let out with irritation.
She looks at him in amusement. "You're the one who suddenly barged in with uneven breathing, Taehyung. I'm the one who should've gotten scared," she softly chuckles.
"I thought you left me already." He puffed an air out and went to hug her from behind.
"I'm not going anywhere, Tae," she assured with a smile, even though he couldn't see it.
"Good. Because I'll find you wherever part of the world you go."
Jennie gulped down the lump in her throat and tried to calm her heart, which was beating faster. She's not happy with what he said. She's scared.
Scared of what he could do
"Jennie, what the heck are you thinking?! You just left his house without telling him! He will look for you!"
Jennie didn't listen to her nagging friend, Nayeon. She doesn't want to hear any nags from her friend. She knows they will just tell her to go home. They are just afraid that they will get under her boyfriend's skin and taste his wrath.
"Please, I'm scared of him. I love him so much, but I'm afraid that he will hurt me soon," she said with a bit of panic.
Irene sat beside her and patted her back. "It's okay, Jennie. We're here. We don't want him to get mad at us because we're afraid he'll never let you hang out with us. But if you feel unsafe with him, we're going to protect you."
"Thank you," she sighed.
"Let me ask you one question, Jennie." Jisoo spoke after quite some time now. She nods her head and signals her to continue her question. "Did he hurt you? Like physically or emotionally?"
She immediately shook her head. "No. But whenever Taehyung and I end up in a fight, he will leave me alone and find someone to beat up. Then he will approach me like nothing happened."
She shook her head after remembering everything she witnessed while living with Taehyung. He's really kind to her and will always take good care of her, but whenever he's mad, she knows he will get out of hand.
She's just really thankful that he never hurt her physically, verbally, or emotionally. But the doubt that he will hurt her soon is always in her heart.
She's scared that the guy she loves and treasures the most will treat her like a punching bag. She doesn't want that to happen.
"Jennie, I think you should go and make all your worries clear to him. I'm a psychologist, and I know that a person who has an anger management issue is hard to control. And especially this thing you did, he will get extremely angry," Jisoo informs with the help of her psychologist brain.
