I halted as I overheard a conversation in the hallway. I could plainly hear what they were saying because the corridor was silent due to the fact that it was approaching late.

I don't like to be inquisitive, but it interested me. I therefore approach the door in silence and quietly peer inside. I take a casual glance at the two individuals inside.

While the girl appears stiff and embarrassed, the guy seems nonchalant. It raised my eyebrows.

The guy asks, deadpan, "Are you aware that you're embarrassing yourself?"

The girl stammered back, "I simply want to express my feelings for you."

He said coldly, "Leave."

With tears in her eyes, the girl turned to face him. "Taehyung..."

I instantly play calm and leave, acting like I wasn't being nosy at all, as he turns his back on her and says, "Let's not talk anymore and leave the club."

I attended class as normal the following day. I was immediately noticed again when I entered my class. I was relieved to be wearing my airpods so I wouldn't have to subject myself to listening to their pointless babbling.

Upon seeing me, Hanbin waved his hands. I went up to the chair behind him and sat down. I was just staring at him when he started talking, since I couldn't make out a word he was saying.

I folded my arms and sat back on my chair. I closed my eyes and sighed as the breeze struck my face, and I looked at the window next to me. I feel great comfort in it.

During lunch break, Hanbin persuaded me to go to the cafeteria for snacks, but I didn't want to wait in line for too long, so I just gave him my money and told him what snack I wanted.

I went to the open space and sat down on a gazebo there. I closed my eyes and laid my head on the table. Although it may be quite noisy here, the school radio is playing, which is reassuring.

They read an intriguing story and broadcast it around the campus during this portion. It occurs at random times, etc.

The host resumed reading a story once the music ceased.

"The sixteenth of January, that Saturday night, was very memorable for me. My friends and I had such a great time at Karaoke. We have a friend who wants to celebrate her birthday. We sang, danced, and got wasted. I really wish it would happen again. Right, my friend? I didn't greet you that time. It might be really late, but... happy sixteenth birthday."

When I heard the greeting, my eyes closed immediately. Since I had already begun to panic, I got out of my chair and sprinted to the corner.

I'm having trouble breathing because memories are racing through my head. I ran behind the structure, trying to get some air. Uncontrollably trembling, my hands began to shake as tears began to form in my eyes.

My knees gave out, and I sank to the floor. I took off some of my buttons and my ribbon because I felt like I was suffocating under them.

I was suddenly enveloped by something. A coat, that is. My trembling hands were tightly holding onto my ribbon as I took a slow, careful look at who had done it.

It's him.

That's what I could recall before I passed out. After that, I simply woke up in the school clinic.

She waited for my response so she could record it on her paper and then inquired, "How are you, Miss Kim?"

I responded, "I'm fine, just a little queasy."

The nurse writes it down while nodding. She asks again, "Are you getting panic attacks often?"

I drew a small line between my lips and shook my head slightly.
