𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨

Isla dreaded going back to school. She didn't necessarily hate school, she just found it tiring and liked hanging out with her friend group more. Her favorite class though, was band. Isla played the Tenor saxophone, and was 1st chair.

Jay and Isla walked through the halls to band class together, while talking about an upcoming party.

"Hey are you going to go to Jason's Halloween party? It's supposed to be really fun." Jay told Isla, as he walked with her.

"Ehh I don't know.. parties aren't really my thing, their kind of overwhelming. Besides, isn't everyone like drinking and stuff?" Isla asked.

"Yeah, I guess. But you don't have to, I probably will drink but you know that the triplets and Delilah are sober, you don't need to do anything like that there."
Jay reassured, hoping to convince the girl to come.

"I don't know..." Isla trailed off.

"Please? You don't have to, but it'll be super fun I swear."

"Okay fine. I'll only go if the rest of the group is going though." Isla gave in.

Jay beamed at her. "Yes!"

"Don't get too excited. I'll only go if the rest of the group is." She reminded the brown haired boy.

"Whatever. I'll get them to come." He waved her off.

Isla chuckled and rolled her eyes at him, as she thought it was stupid he was so excited over just a party.

As the two walked into their class, they were greeted by Stella and Fallon, their friends. Stella and Fallon were super cool, they were the kind of people you could just be yourself around. Isla wished they hung out with the friend group more, because she thought that the girls would get along with everyone well. So, she asked the girls if they wanted to come to the party too.

"Hey guys! Are you going to Jason's party? Me and Jay are going with the triplets and my friend Delilah. You should come." Isla invited the girls. Technically, Isla didn't know if either of them had even talked to Matt, Nick and Chris, but she referred to them as the triplets. Everyone knew them, since triplets were definitely not something you saw everyday.

"Of course! I didn't know that there was a party soon, I'm totally down." Fallon grinned.

"Me neither. We'd love to go." Stella agreed, giving Isla a soft smile.

"Alright you guys! Please be quiet and we can get our instruments out and start class!" Mr Liam their band teacher told them, and everyone filed to their assigned seats.

Jay and Isla walked to lunch together to meet up with their friend group, at the table that they always sat at. While walking there they saw Fallon and Stella, who they had just walked their own separate way, and isla decided to ask they if they wanted to join her and the group.
