After Isla went bowling with the triplets and her friends, she went back to her house. The next morning, she texted Chris to ask if she could stay the night, to which he said yes. She packed a bag, and Matt came and picked her up.

Once they arrived at the triplet's house, Isla greeted Marylou and Jimmy, then Nick and Chris.

Isla once again thanked Chris for the necklace, since she was unbelievably grateful that he cared enough to think about her and get her that.

"Okay, I know I've said it a million times already, but thank you for the necklace. It was really sweet, really." Isla smiled at Chris.

They were in Chris's room, just the two of them, and they had turned Chris's TV onto the first thing they found. Neither of them were really watching what was on, they were just talking, both laying together on his bed.

Chris chuckled. "I know, you said it a million times last night." He referred to their FaceTime call the night before. "But your welcome." He smiled, looking down at her.

Isla found herself flustered by the way he was looking at her, and quickly turned back to the TV show she wasn't even interested in. She couldn't make eye contact with him, it made her too nervous. Well, usually she could, but something about the way that he looked down to see her just made her feel like her heart had a mind of its own, because it was racing at an embarrassingly fast rate.

As Isla still had her eyes glued to the TV, she heard somebody's phone go off. She had thought she already put her phone on silent, and assumed it was Chris's phone, so she didn't care to check.

"Uhm.. Iz, you have a message." He said, handing her her phone, not looking her in the eyes.

Her eyebrows furrowed, confused on why he was acting so weird. She then checked her phone to see what the message was.

Listen, I've been thinking about what
happened with us. We ended on the
wrong note, and I really miss you. I
miss what we had, and I honestly
think that the whole "I can't do this
because of my dad" thing was bullshit,
but to be honest I don't care anymore.
I just want what we had before, but
no bullshit with Chris like before.
Im giving you another opportunity,
take it.

Well, Isla desperately needed to change his contact. Maybe even block him, who knows. She didn't know how to reply, she didn't know if she should just block him, -holy shit, what if Chris saw that? The part where he said, "no bullshit with Chris like before" probably sounded suspicious.

The entire situation started to stress her out, as she thought about all the possible situations that could come from this. What would Chris say? Now that she thought about it, there was no way Chris didn't see the text. The way he didn't look at her in her eyes when he handed her phone, he definitely saw at least something.

"Uhm, I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick." Isla excused herself.

She left before Chris could even reply, and without thinking, opened the patio door and walked out. She stood outside for a moment, taking deep breaths of the fresh air as she debated what to do.

Her peace only lasted a moment though, as Chris opened the patio door and walked out to join Isla.

"I'm guessing you saw the text?" Isla sighed.
