Once Chris awoke, he immediately felt his cheeks turn red. He was laying next to Isla, and he was close to her, so close that it made his heart practically beat out of his chest. His arm was around her waist, and his head was hurried into her shoulder.

He silently cursed himself for doing that.

He wasn't supposed to fall asleep with her in his arms, that wasn't his job. He was supposed to be doing that with Scar, but yet some part of him had to fuck that up.

He needed to stop doing this, he thought. He was letting himself get too close to her, in ways that scared him.

It scared him because he knew that he couldn't control himself around the girl, that his body seemed to have a mind of its own when it was that close to her.

He slowly tried to discretely move away from Isla, to try and not wake her up. He succeeded, and walked into the kitchen to find a snack.

While going through his fridge, he heard his phone buzzing, since he had placed it on the counter last night when grabbing Isla a glass of water.

He checked his phone, to see that Scar had messaged him.

Chris had decided to have her come over a little bit later than usual, since he didn't just want to kick Isla out. He wanted to give her some time to wake up and get ready, and also hang out with him.

Since he knew Isla would probably have a pretty bad hangover, he looked up good foods for hangovers. He read online that pancakes were good for them, and he thought them to be not that hard to make, and so he got out all of the ingredients.

He made the batter, and then began to pour the pancakes onto the griddle.

Isla then woke up, confused on why she was at the Sturniolo's house. She hadn't remembered much last night, pretty much just up to when Jay brought out the champagne.

As she got up, she immediately sat back down. She groaned in pain, from the banging feeling in her head.

Chris heard her, and called her over.

"Hey Iz." He greeted, flashing her a smile.

"Hey. You sure look happy." She narrowed her eyes at the boy.

He chuckled. "And you don't."

Isla sat down at the counter, and looked over to see Chris flipping pancakes.

"Since when the hell did you cook? I thought you hated it. That's always Matt's job."

Chris shrugged. "Since you got extremely drunk on champagne, and were bound to get a horrible hangover." He chuckled at the last part.

"How'd I even get here?" She muttered.

"I drove you here." Chris answered the brunette.
