"Okay.. which dress? I can't decide." Delilah groaned, as she held up two dress choices for Isla to pick between.

It was Matt and Delilah's third anniversary, as well as Isla and Markus's first date. The two decided to get ready together at Delilah's house, since their dates were at the same time.

Delilah had been debating which dress to wear all evening, and Isla thought it was stupid.

"The red dress fits better on you, and red is more romantic. Just wear that one, for the love of god."

"Alright alright. Your right though. I think reds a pretty romantic color." Delilah agreed, smirking.

Isla couldn't help but smile back.

"So, are you excited for your first ever date?!" Delilah squealed. Not only was it Isla and Markus's first date, but it was also Isla's very first date ever.

Isla wasn't all that nervous. She expected to be, but she felt fine.

Part of her felt a little bit weird about the date. It was almost like something was off, but she couldn't quite place what. She didn't exactly feel 'butterflies' as Delilah called it, like Delilah felt with Matt. She was confused on why though. Markus is such a nice guy, and he's taking her out on a nice date. Why can't she just enjoy that without overthinking everything?

For some reason Delilah was nervous as shit. Her and Matt had been on many dates before, and they always were amazing. She'd never been nervous for a date with Matt, as he always made sure she felt comfortable. The two looked out for each other, and always checked in on one another to make sure their okay.

Matt honked twice to let Delilah know he was outside her house.

Delilah reapplied her lip gloss one more time, and then said bye to her mom. Isla had already left for her date with Markus a few minutes ago.

As Delilah hopped into Matt's car, he gave her a kiss on her forehead. Matt knew that was the thing Delilah loved most that guys did, and he knew that every time he did it it drove her crazy.

Matt was taking Delilah on some 'secret date' as he called it, and wouldn't tell her where they were going. He claimed it was really romantic and he actually was pretty proud of the idea to do it.

As they pulled up to their destination, Delilah smiled. It was a warm smile, filled with memories of the two when they were younger. Their very first date was in Freshmen year, looking back the two were practically babies. Matt had taken her to the beach, in the middle of November. Nick and Chris said it was stupid, but Matt had remembered how Delilah always loved the beach, no matter what time of the year. He didn't tell her they were going there, and so she found out where their date was when they arrived. The two were unbelievably nervous, as it was both Matt and Delilah's first ever dates. Matt didn't exactly know what was romantic and how to show how much he cared for her, but he tried his best. He gave her a bouquet of flowers, and when the arrived at the beach Delilah was surprised with all of their favorite snacks and drinks.

That was Delilah's favorite memory with Matt. It was the best date she could've ever asked for, it was wonderful. Nonetheless, it was awkward too. The two had no idea how to act around each other now that they had expressed their feelings for one other. But eventually, after the first few dates, it felt easy to be with him. Delilah felt like she could tell him anything and everything, and that he would listen. Not only did Matt always listen to her, he understood her. He understood her on a different level, one that Delilah thought nobody else could ever come close to.

As the car slowed down to a halt, Delilah stared out the window. Looking at the same beach she had her very first date on, the memories came back to her like whiplash.

"So... What do you think?" Matt asked, nervous to hear if she liked his idea of coming here or not.

"I love it. Thank you so much for taking me here, really. I feel like I'm reliving our very first date." Delilah expressed, and Matt watched her continue to go on, but at this point he wasn't fully listening. He was staring at her, staring into her eyes. He gazed at her, amazed at how just beautiful she was.

Matt smiled softly. "Im glad you like it. You ready?"

"Ready than ever." Delilah smirked, as she opened the car door.

As she opened Matt's car door, she felt the salty air around her. Delilah absolutely adored the smell of the ocean, as she did even when she was a little girl.

As Delilah followed Matt through the sand, she wasn't surprised to see a towel spread out with all of their favorite foods and a bouquet of flowers. It was so amazing, like she had told Matt earlier it was like she was reliving the whole day.

"What are you thinking?" Matt asked, noticing that Delilah was gazing out at the beach in front of them.

Delilah smiled softly at her boyfriend. "I'm just thinking about how much I love you."

Matt smiled back. "Well, I'll let you continue with that."

Delilah laughed in response. A true, genuinely happy laugh. The sound was like music to Matt's ears, he loved her laugh. He loved everything about her, all the little things and quirks. He loved her, more than anything.
