After at the end of the Chasm, Aether and Paimon finally made it to Sumeru.

Aether uses the [Space Stone] to teleport themselves near the dendro statue. Once Aether touched the statue, it glows from red to blue. He now have the power of Dendro, but he doesn't even needed it.
Only the Real Aether can use the power of dendro as a part of his training.
After that Aether went back down and waiting for that girl...
And they instead found her in the cave.
