Elisha moved steadily towards the back garden of the king's mansion, it was called that way. He was in search of his sire and with help of his olfactory receptors, he was able to detect his presence at the back garden. He stepped into the circle of red roses. Every where was red in this circle with visible walking paths. Every other flower or plant was scattered about outside the circle.
"Your majesty". He bowed, facing the back of his magnificent king.
"No need Elisha. You met with her. I can get her scent on you". Nathan said sniffing the overpowering scent of the roses surrounding him.
"As you wish your majesty". He bowed before he turned to leave.
"Elisha". He stopped his right hand man from taking another step.
"It has been eight hundred and fifty six years since she left". Nathan smirked finally turning about to face his friend. Elisha knew him from birth. His father had chosen Elisha for him as a companion.
"And in that same time frame you have shut everyone out".
Nathan chuckled at his remark.
"No one can justify her leaving. Even if she finally reincarnated, It concerns me the least".
"Yet you didn't show up for work". They heard a voice they were very familiar with. "Yesterday you were a second from going berserk". Now he sounded angry.
"Romeo".
"Iblis knows she's back". He said under clenched teeth. Nathan sent him a sharp gaze, a killing intent waltzing in his eyes. His black eyes were the color of molten magma.
"He sent a message". Nathan understood what Romeo meant by sending a message.
"Should I send a reply your majesty?" Elisha asked with fury coating his voice.
"Why would Nathan want that? He clearly said he wanted nothing to do with her. Didn't you lover boy". Dakuna wiggled his brows at him when he was saying the lay sentence. He shows up from thin air and releases words soaked with sarcasm.
No one starred at the annoying shadow though he was very much visible. He sighed soundlessly. He needs to upgrade his entrances, he thought to himself.
Nathan turned from them and starred silently at the red roses. Images of a red lingerie filling his mind.
He had refused to accept it was her when he saw her for the very first time. Even when he tasted her blood, he knew that taste was uniquely hers but he denied to believe in that shitty prophecy Olive told him. He had wanted her because she was able to fill the void in his life with the effect she had on him. He now had to come into terms with the truth. Ravaya's reincarnation was no one but Gelma. They didn't even look same but every other feature was present. Her eyes, her heart beat that was neither a vampire's or demon's or witch's. He could have been aware of everything that transpired eight hundred and fifty six years ago but he shut everyone up and didn't want to listen. No reason was enough to justify her actions.
"Nathan if I wasn't there. If I didn't show up at the right time..."
"Enough". Nathan said calmly. He was a raging inferno and any other thing Romeo was going to utter will cost him an outburst.
"I have taken a decision". He faced them again.
"I want no business with her directly. We will keep her away from any danger as she can't stop attracting them so I will have some peace. She will be safer around me".
"Around you? Yet you don't want to deal with her directly". Dakuna sneered. "Do you mind telling us how you will keep her around you and will restrain yourself from touching her?"
"I have dealt with my self control". He answered simply. "Even her old self would be unable to break it".
Dakuna mentally applauded his white lie. Only a fool would believe such a lie. If Ravaya was here, he would lose his ability to speak and use that annoying mouth of his for better use, while pleasing his woman.
"I hope you will stay true to your words". Romeo said.
Elisha only starred at the king wondering how he would be able to keep those words of his. It was going to be impossible for him to not touch her.
