"Thirsty?" A sultry female voice boomed in a dark room. She teleported herself to this room the moment she sensed the presence of a demon, that too one of the princes of hell, the heir apparent to hell's throne. She laughed maniacally, as her eyes settled on him, it was time for him to have his special feed.
"Azazel". She called seductively while caressing his face with her long white nails.
"I don't have any time to waste Iscah. Where is it?"
He warned with a low toned voice that expressed how livid he felt. His eyes pitch black and devoid of any emotion.
"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!" She starred at him questioningly, "You came unannounced and expect to find it so easily?" She demanded.
"I didn't save you from Draco so you could be of no use did I?" He said making her angry.
"Well, it was mother's idea so she is my true savior". She smirked. "You shouldn't be threatening me this way, remember that I am the keeper of all your dirty secrets".
"I would kill you". He said lowly. Iscah should have been scared but she wasn't, this was 'everyday Nathan' to her.
"Azazel! It bothers me still, you have an ample supply of fae blood back at your residence why resort to the impure blood I offer you?" She asked in-order to annoy him.
"Ohh it seems you took a bite". She chuckled darkly. Nathan glared at her, the intensity of his glare did well to shut her up.
"Where is it Iscah?" He asked again, his voice subtly telling her not to beat around the bush and serve him.
She disappeared from his sight so as to get for him fae blood. She was Iscah, a third ranked demon who was enslaved by one of the princes of hell, Draco. She was undeniably beautiful and attractive to the eyes of men, excluding Nathan. She had long white hair, it was so straight and was way past her waist. Her eyes were the color of ruby. Her body like porcelain. Draco had forcefully kept her, he had claimed her, she didn't want to be with him. She was freed by Nathan and his mother, the most beautiful jewel and dowager queen one could find in dynasties. Nathan single handedly took Draco's life away. Now she was in the underworld, in a black castle, she was now brooding in like a demon lord.
In exchange for the luxury and freedom, she had to secretly offer him fae blood. Nathan had a dark secret he wanted no one to know about, especially Gelma.
She reappeared with an alabaster jar containing fae blood and a glass. She served it to him, he took it from her hands and gulped it down.
"You know what Iblis is up to...you must not let him have access to her blood...again". She emphasized on her last word. He had been reckless enough to let Iblis get his hands on the fae, the descendant of Oprah La Parge, the one they had been awaiting, unfortunately she turned out to be Nathan's mate. Wasn't that a curse upon him? If she ever found out about Nathan's past dealings, she would fulfill her purpose and kill him. She was the only one capable to end his life.
"You should take her life and emerge as the undisputed king of hell..." An invisible power pushed her to the wall, crushing her. She began pleading.
"She is my mate, my lover, my life. I would slit your throat if you dare say another word". He roared.
"Azazel". She croaked out pleadingly.
"Azazel let Iscah go this instant".
A woman walked in, platinum hair, black eyes with visible golden flames in her eyes. She looked lethal and overly dangerous yet beautiful and alluring. He followed her order and let her go. Iscah remained on the floor recuperating from the attack.
"Azazel". His mother called in order to make him face her.  He gazed at her fiercely, openly showing his displeasure at her interruption.
"You didn't mind to tell me about the rogue vampires lurking about Thenas' borders". Her soft voice resonated, bringing about a sense of serene and peace. She was indeed worried for her son. He was super secretive and never asked anyone for help, sometimes he forgot he had trustworthy people surrounding him.
"I can handle it". He answered curtly with furrowed brows. He could still feel it, the need for Gelma's blood was gnawing his insides. He needed a great distraction before he followed his instincts. He didn't want to do something he would regret. He bit her unexpectedly, he felt terrified. He could hurt her again.
"I could be of help". She tried talking some send into him. "You need allies...it's not everything your prowess and finesse can handle". This caught his attention. He was threading with outmost caution. Anyone could be a traitor. He wasn't going to let any other person in on his matters. If his mother got involved, things would definitely go haywire. Not every being in hell was supportive of his rule. Things were complicated, he didn't want to further intricate matters.
"I'm very much aware of that". He said and  added. "I am perfect in my lonesome mother". He smirked and disappeared from their presence. Axelia mentally cussed at his disappearing form. That man was the root of stubbornness.

Gelma opened her bright blue eyes, she sat upright and scanned the room, Nathan was nowhere to be seen. Before she could get all angry and devastated, he came out of the bathroom with just a towel tied about his waist. The moment she spotted him, she breath out in relief, the worst thoughts had already been plaguing her mind, she was grateful he hadn't left her all alone again. Starring at him as he made his way towards the bed, her mind began freezing while her heart raced. He was sure sexy, that was an undeniable feature he possessed. His hair was still damped and his face alone was calling unto her soul. His abs, his chest, she swallowed what ever crept up her throat.
"Hey babe" he greeted  casually while kissing her forehead. He wore a charming and carefree smile that got her thinking for a moment. She hadn't even noticed him walking towards her, her mind had really been frozen. He watched her, feeling amused with her reactions. She was so cute whenever she had that look on her face. He was impressed with himself, his mate was drooling over his body.
"Nathan". She whispered.
"I need you to get ready for work. We got some important matters to attend to". He said and smiled at her, another warm smile that wasn't teasing or tricking.
"I would be ready in a minute". She told him and got down. He left the room so she could have her space.
They were good to go. Elisha wasn't around so it was Lynx that drove them to Wallace Corp. She had wanted to ask where Elisha was, why Mr. Dimitri wasn't with them as always. Most especially she wanted to ask him about his absences during the weekend. Those questions were rushing in like water pouring down from a waterfall. Her meeting with 'her supposed guardian angel' Tyler, who was Iblis? Who had Nathan referred to as Ravaya in his nightmare? If Nathan wasn't human what was he? Why wasn't he opening up to her completely? What was he hiding?
They had arrived Wallace corporation quite fast, well Nathan's drivers were as those in the movie fast and furious. She stepped down, Nathan had helped her down as the gentleman he wasn't. He had even gone an extra mile to open the car door for her. They were right in front of the building, people were watching them and were murmuring to themselves. She was going to get unwanted attention just because Nathan dear was acting unlike himself. What CEO opens the car door for his PA?
He didn't let go of her hand, he held it firmly, he wasn't going to let go? She hoped he wasn't being lovey dovey with her because he didn't suit that part. They didn't go into the underground garage as usual neither did they make use of his private elevator. What was this crazy man up to this time around? He led her through the doors into the lobby. All eyes were on her and their intertwined hands, they didn't dare stare at Nathan. She wished they could switch personalities.
"Let me go Nathan...it is becoming awkward". She whispered knowing he could hear her perfectly well.
"What is awkward about me holding the hand of my woman?" He asked her calmly. Her eyes went saucers the moment he uttered those words. What did he just call her?
"People are starring". She whispered under clenched teeth. Only God knew what they were murmuring about.
He didn't give a fuck and kept walking. They got in an elevator. While she was glaring daggers at him, his gaze on her was endearing. He brought their intertwined hands closer to his broad chest.
"What other string do I have to pull before you realize we are a couple?" He asked her playfully.
"What? You didn't follow the norms Mr. Wallace, you didn't court me". She glared still.
"Really?" He raised his brow. "You let me crawl into your bed, hold you and pleasure you. You even went far as begging to touch me". He smirked at her watching her burn in both fury and embarrassment.
"You seduced me". She defended herself.
"So you agree I am irresistible". He chuckled. "You love me Gelma. The feeling is mutual my lady". He smiled teasingly. He stepped out of the elevator, they had reached his floor. She remained glued and didn't move a muscle. She had deliberately walked into fire. Now, it was slowly going to burn her to ashes. What had she gotten herself into?

Nathan was seated behind his desk, getting himself busy with work. He seemed totally immersed in his work that he didn't notice Romeo's presence. It was after he felt his gaze did he then lift up his head to stare at him. Romeo made himself comfortable and sat leisurely while studying the man before him.
"You have some explaining to do". He said, not beating about the bush. His eyes were stern and in search of answers.
