Metal clacking and rattling sounds reverberated in the room Elisha was kept in. He kept yanking the chains off their hooks hoping to break free but his attempts were turning futile. He then heard a clattering noise, followed by maniacal laughter. The psychopath popped up before him, cladded in a bright red cloak that brought a little light to the room, accompanying her fiery red hair.
"My darling". She kept laughing. "Aren't you tired of the torture? You still don't want me?" She asked. Talking about torture, she hadn't laid a finger on him. All she did was transform herself into his mate and taunt him. That was torturous enough.
He remained mute, glaring daggers at her.
"You know I was scared when I took you away. I was sure she would turn the world upside down in search of you. I have been on alert waiting to see her pay us a visit but no, I overestimated her. She is so weak and undeserving of you". She drawled on, irking her captive. "Maybe she has no love for you, even if she was to save you, you can't have a future. This is what's best darling, you forget about the vampire demon princess and and get acquainted with me". She beamed, already picturing their future together.
"We are going to be unstoppable darling. You would be my king and I your queen. We would rule this world together". She kept describing a non existent life of them both.
"Silly Iblis thinks I will be his servant". She laughed out as the lunatic she was. "He has no idea what I'm planning for him. All I need is the fae blood and he can kiss goodbye to the face of the earth".
"Azazel would follow suit, they would be casted into oblivion. You will be the ultimate king of hell, you will wield the power of the Oprah fae".
"All in exchange for love". She walked towards him, swaying her hips hoping her movements will sway his mind. She came to stand before him, she placed her finger under his chin and raised his face up so they could stare at each other's eyes.
"Love me Elisha. Be mine". She said pleadingly. She sounded so desperate. She had waited patiently to become this powerful so she could pull some strings and get him all to herself.
She remembered the first day she set her eyes on him, it was a thousand years ago. She had been captured by the crazy vampire demon princess, for trespassing her training grounds. The platinum haired princess was obsessed with archery and didn't like others invading her space. Sybil concluded that fate brought her to that place so she could meet the love of her life.
"Let her go. Is that how you treat a lady?" He scolded at the warrior guards, witnessing them pulling the red headed witch aggressively. They let her go.
"What is her offense?" He demanded authoritatively. He was the head of all guards in the royal castle of Thenas.
"Princess Olive caught her loitering about her space". One of the guards responded. Elisha fought the urge of rolling his eyes. He told them sternly.
"You know the palace dungeons are full of potential criminals. We can't accommodate tress passers".
"We were following the Princess' orders". They justified their actions. Even though the Princess was all goody two shoes, she could turn into a monster. They didn't want to fall in her ire.
"That's fine. You could have simply thrown her outside. It's not like we are in need of witches". He said nonchalantly. He then turned his gaze on the witch. He couldn't help but notice her amber eyes, burning bright. She looked like a kid starring at her favorite candy, he hoped he wasn't the supposed candy. For someone who was about to be thrown into a dungeon she looked excited. He simply turned his back on her and walked away.
She smiled at the memory, from that day, she had been visiting the palace. She had to befriend them all so she could get close to him. When she found out that he was Olive's mate, she didn't back down and thought of ways to break the soulmate bond. She had arrived at this point. They could never be together, it was either her or death.
"How am I sure you would not be consumed by power and kill me". He asked.
"I love you Elisha. I will never lay a finger on you".
"That doesn't mean you won't kill me at the slightest threat".
"If you reciprocate my love, I will have no reason to put you in harms way". She tried convincing him.
"It takes time to love someone. Will you grant me that time?" He demanded.
"As long as you stay by my side".
"How do you plan on getting the fae's blood?" He asked curiously.
"Leave that to me. I have many rooms for captives you know. A little threats and she comes straight to me". Sybil smiled. "She has already awakened, no need presenting her to Iblis".
"Whatever you're planning, take every step easy". He advised her, he didn't want her hurting the people close to Gelma. He already had an inclination of what she was planning.
"I know. I'm glad you care about my well being". He gave her a tight smile, watching her leave the room. His smile slowly fell from his face. Nathan better had a good reason for taking this long, he thought.
