"Azazel". Elisha called with no tinge of respect but with malice.
"Elisha". Nathan didn't sound angry or betrayed, he looked rather amazed. "I would never have thought you would do this. What a great move. I am proud of you. I didn't make a mistake making you my prodigy".
"You flatter me Azel" Elisha began.
"I must warn you my friend...only my beloved gets to call me that way". Nathan said and they both chuckled. The rest of them who stood by Nathan were in a sea of confusion, trying to comprehend what was going on and what game they were at. Sybil kept her nerve wrecking smile on display as she was finding the conversation rather interesting. Elisha was now with her, too bad for Nathan and most especially for Olive.
"Release them". Nathan commanded immediately his laughter died.
"You know the price for their release. You knew it was going to come down to this".
"I will kill you". His carefree smile vanished, giving room to his icy look.
"If you don't give her up, I will kill them. I will cut them part by part and feed them to your blood thirsty brother"
"Nathan is he talking about my family?" Gelma spoke up angrily. She was furious that he had kept it from her. He didn't even spare her a glance and that angered her further.
"Elisha you better release them". She growled.
"I will but in exchange for your blood. All of it". He smirked at the last sentence.
Gelma clenched her fists tightly. She couldn't give away her blood because the outcome was going to be catastrophic. No matter what her blood couldn't get into their hands. Her family, they were in great danger, she had to save them but she didn't know how.
"Fine".
"No". Came Nathan's refusal.
"I have no choice". Gelma gritted her teeth, speaking in a whisper that only the demons could hear. No matter how evolved witches could be, advanced hearing was not for them.
"Trust me". It came off as a plea.
"I'd rather give myself up than trust you".
"Do you love me?"
"Yes". She answered without thought, when she realized what she had said, she became even more irked and that made him smirk.
"I know you Ravaya. You wouldn't give your heart to someone you do not trust". He said pouring fuel into her fire. "These are the times you need to trust in me than yourself".
"They have my family. You don't expect me to be calm". She almost yelled.
Iscah watched the couple banter, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at the cosmic play before her. She knew exactly what was going on, Elisha was smarter than she thought. It seemed like the two demons had a mutual understanding cause anyone who paid attention to their conversation would deduce that they were both aware of the game.
"I have the solution with me". He said to calm her down. He indeed had the solution. He was standing right beside them, eyes on the villainous duo. She followed his line of sight and understood what he meant. Dakuna was a good snooping creature.
"Besides that, I am in control". Nathan added and with a head movement, Dakuna disappeared. His disappearance wasn't noticed as he was almost invisible.
Olive was busy with her mind, coming up with reasons for Elisha's game, what were they up to? Her smart mind kept telling her that he was deceiving Sybil and that looked to be it but she couldn't rid the feeling of betrayal, seeing him stand so close to her and watching her witchery eyes make fun of her.
"Taking them from your cursed cave to my castle. What a move". Nathan spoke, his eyes on the red haired witch.
"My! my! your majesty". She chuckled. "Elisha thought it wise to claim your territory. Do you perhaps know where your generals and officials are?"
Nathan burst into a fit of laughter. How brilliant! Elisha knew it will be easier to rescue Gelma's family in the castle, though Sybil was a frequent visitor to its interior, she wasn't well versed with the secret passages. And...her magic couldn't restrict his powers and Dakuna's abilities.
"So you want to be my replacement". He said sarcastically, angering the witch.
"I will take over your powers, your kingdom and hell's throne. All that you have will be mine". Elisha uttered before Sybil could. "She made me realize that...the woman I love". He said while wounding his arm round Sybil's waist.
Sybil held her nose high as she smirked at the platinum haired woman whose livid eyes were glowering at her.
"Ravaya, descendant of the Oprah". Sybil started, "As you heard, your family in exchange for your blood". She smirked, feeling superior to the most powerful earthling. "All of it sweetheart. Till the very last drop".
