Chapter twenty eight

"You kissed me". Romeos 's words kept ringing in her head. She starred at him incredulously. She couldn't possibly term it a lie because, Romeo didn't lie. All through their friendship, he had done nothing but spill the bitter truth. She felt even more reassured of its validity seeing his expressionless face and cold eyes starring back at her. She was speechless, how was she supposed to explain herself when she didn't even remember kissing him? She hoped they did just kissing.
"What...What else happened?" She stuttered, praying nothing else occurred because it could cost their friendship. She didn't want to be feeling awkward, she already had enough on her plate.
"I was about letting you be, but you prevented me from leaving... you clutched my arm, you begged me to stay". He said this time with a sinister smirk. She gulped, she was surely doomed.
"Did we..." she whispered.
"If we did I would still be inside of you fucking you senseless". Nathalie gasped, what had she just heard? Romeo was ever so bold with his words but to imagine him uttering such to her was close to impossible but look what we have here! He was more shocked hearing for himself what had come forth out of his mouth. The earlier the ended the conversation, the better for them both.
Romeo had said that with a deadpanned face. Nathalie was definitely going to stab that poker face of his. His gray eyes never left her almond's, he gazed intensely, something was pending and she didn't know what it was.
"I don't appreciate such compensations Nathalie. Do not offer me your body just because you inconvenience me".
"I don't know what you are talking about. I don't even remember doing any of that sort. Moreover I would never offer my body to anyone...
"Except king Nathan". He interjected her.
"Romeo". She warned but he went on, ignoring her sullen face.
"Since he doesn't want you, you're looking for a substitute to bitch around with". He said, earning a spank on his cheek. Just as she slapped him hard, she couldn't comprehend what happened next but here she was, pinned to the wall, encamped between his hands, her hands in his hair as his face came down on hers in a ravaging kiss. It happened so fast that no one could understand how but they were sure of one thing, they were a hundred percent aroused, owing to the maddening kiss they were sharing.
Nathalie had never felt this enticed before, she was definitely in cloud nine, his touch was burning, and his kisses were heart melting. She couldn't believe that such pleasurable feelings existed. She wanted more, she was ready to explore deeper and see what destination her adventure would take her to.
Romeo on the other hand couldn't believe himself, he had been easily swayed by a 'spank', how hilarious it was to think that a kiss such as this could be ignited by a slap in the cheek. So his walls came crashing down with just a spank from the woman that wrecked his heart. He had gained access into her delicious mouth, he explored every corner of her mouth, feeling the euphoria that came with kissing her. It was a beautiful moment but a thought flashed in his mind. Though she was responding with the same energy, how sure was he that her feelings were same? What if her want for Nathan was the driving force behind her responses?
He broke off from the kiss. Nathalie groaned in displeasure, she didn't want it to be over just yet. He took few steps backwards avoiding her outstretched hand from touching him.
"Romeo...
"This was a mistake". He simply said and walked out. She clutched her nightwear around her chest area, while sliding down the wall. Her heart was still beating erratically from their session.
