Two pairs of eyes watched Olive's movements with a tinge of displeasure. She had refused to listen to them and was adamant about her attack on the witches. They watched her gather up her daggers, she was getting set for a vicious battle.
"Beautiful but obstinate". Dakuna grumbled, she didn't even spare him a glance or waste her time to retort back. He had done nothing but make offensive utterances that didn't move her the least. Neither was she bothered about Elisha whose gaze was looming over her every turn, he remained silent and unmoving. He had leisurely leaned himself on a wall, as his eyes followed her tacitly, his arms were folded a-crossed his chest, his face relaxed but the air around him wasn't so still as he looked. Dakuna was on the other side of the room, pacing about a little space, cussing and murmuring to himself. She didn't pay any heed. She went on with her preparations. She was going to attack the magic forest were the witches resided. She was going to make them vomit and reveal Sybil's hiding place. She was going to cause terror and wipe them out if that was going to make that slime witch come to them.
She was ready, just when she was about making her way out of the room, an unknown woman appeared before her. The sudden appearance of an unknown woman caused Olive to place an immediate attack, luckily for the woman, Elisha took the blow for her just in time. Olive had plunged a very deadly poisonous dagger into his mid chest. She panicked instantly. Elisha saw a fountain of emotions in her eyes, he was shocked seeing her express such intense emotions. He didn't bask in them for long because anger had clouded those bride obsidian eyes of hers. They became soulless and pitch black. Her eyes were no longer on him but the unknown woman.
She tried pushing Elisha away so she could have access to the woman and stab her with her dagger but he didn't bulge. He remained still purposely so he could prevent Olive from attacking the woman. She became pissed at him. Why was he protecting the woman?
"Olive...look at me". He ordered but her eyes were still glued on the woman, if looks could kill...
"Look at me". He ordered and she did, her eyes landing on his bleeding chest.
"Eli..." she whispered horrified at the blood that was now gushing out profusely.
"I can heal him". The woman said boldly not afraid of the woman whose eyes held a killing intent for her.
Olive turned to glare at the woman but got distracted by Elisha, he cupped her cheeks so he could calm her a little.
"She speaks the truth, she can hasten my healing process". He said to calm her down. She hesitated for a while before returning to her herself.
"How? Demons have no healing ability Elisha". She continued glaring.
"Let's say I have a sacred remedy princess". The woman smirked, irking her fellow woman. "I would be unable to do anything with the dagger still stuck in his chest".
Olive pulled the dagger out of his chest aggressively, causing him to grunt in pain. She felt satisfied hearing him grunt. He deserved it for protecting an unknown woman, well it seemed to her that they knew each other. She watched the white hair woman remove a small bottle from her boots. The liquid inside was as bright as her ruby eyes. She perceived its scent and frowned at what it was, blood. It had a very familiar scent. The blood in that bottle was of an ancient creature that she was sure of but how did this demon get her hands on such? She handed the liquid to Elisha and he hesitantly gulped it. In an instant, the gash on his chest closed up entirely and left no scar. All that remained smeared on him was his blood.
The only one who looked surprised was Olive.
"What did you give him?" She demanded, starring at her suspiciously.
"So you won't even thank me for my kind gesture?" She asked with raised brows.
"You were the reason he was hurt in the first place". Olive replied angrily.
"Last I checked, you stabbed him, with your own hands. How was I the cause of his injure?" She asked, with a sinister smirk playing on her lips. Olive felt an urge to burn that face of hers.
Elisha and Dakuna felt out of place watching the women banter. The earlier the interrupted the better.
"Iscah why are you here?" Elisha questioned.
"Good morning to all of you...hope you had a pleasant night". She beamed, adding fuel to the flames in Olive's eyes.
"Be reasonable Iscah". Dakuna drawled.
"Are you?" She asked him instead. "I thought Azazel had made mention of my coming". She told them.
"For what reason did he send you?" Elisha went on with his interrogation.
"I have with me a special tool we could use to uncloak her hiding". She said referring to Sybil.
Elisha gave her a knowing look.
"What tool?" Olive asked, Iscah glanced at her before answering. "You were on your way to the magic forest, she would reveal herself as you had planned. When we place a threat to the lives of the witches, she would materialize before us, we would be able to locate the cave she has been concealing herself in once she teleports herself back by use of my sacred tool".
"That did not answer my question".
"Some questions are left unanswered for the betterment of the individual". She said.
"So we should go to the magic forest?" Dakuna asked.
"I believe I didn't have water in my mouth when I said so". Iscah retorted.
"Tsk! So rude".
"I would take that as a compliment". She smiled sweetly. "We must leave now".
"I don't trust you". Olive spoke.
"I didn't expect you to". Iscah said calmly and settled her gaze on Elisha who looked to be pondering, weighing the pros and cons.
Dakuna mentally noted, the tigress has finally met her match. Now he had to deal with two daring women.
"We should proceed". Elisha said, his eyes on Olive who was shooting daggers at him. When she wanted to attack, they didn't want to join her and were bent on stopping her but they were ready to take action because another woman said so.
"Shadow guy...if I may ask, how come you are in this form?"
"Only a few know but don't understand how it happened. I was a product of Nathan's outburst when he had acquired it, you sure understand". Dakuna said and she nodded in understanding. It was when he had acquired fae magic. Something only few people knew about. His siblings were unaware. Olive was certain there was something out of place with his power but she had no idea what Nathan had done so as to become the most powerful demon in this epoch. He was a being of aeons.
