Flash back
The forest was dense, the winds were wild hurling about, causing the leaves to rustle. The noise was becoming louder but that didn't matter. The trees that aligned the forest grounds were huge and tall, their roots a constant stumbling block to her but that didn't matter either. The moon light wasn't reachable to the forest bed, the huge trees shedding the light from her path, well that was a problem but the pressing issue here was her pursuers. She refused to look back, she was scared that if she lost focus while running, she might fall and get caught. She was being chased by vampires and she was an ordinary fae. She was using magic to flee away, her speed couldn't be compared with the vampires'. Her long wavy black hair kept flying behind her as she ran, she was a disheveled mess.
Ravaya roughly wiped the tears flowing down her cheeks. She had chosen a path, a path she was a hundred and one percent sure was right but it turned out she was wrong. She should have let him know. She should have explained everything thing to him. She had been lied to. Iblis had lied to her, because of what he had said, she left him, she left Nathan, her lover and king. Could she make it? She had to keep running, she wasn't going to allow Iblis do what he had been planning to do with her the moment he found out what she was, a fae. The descendant of Oprah La Parge, the most powerful and first fae to walk the earth. She was the wielder of her trans generational powers. The immense magic in her was capable of setting the earth ablaze. She was indeed a threat to Nathan's existence but she had still been lied to. The same way the power could be used for destruction, it could be used to empower beings, make them invincible and undisputed. Iblis had been aware and had been hatching plans. She realized that she had fallen into his trap. She had left Nathan and so there was no one to protect her from him. He was going to cease her power and use it for his evil plans. Oh Nathan! She bled in her heart for him. She was going to be the reason for his fall, his demise and death. She was so sorry, if only she could turn the hands of time, she wanted another chance to right her wrongs. She wouldn't let Iblis succeed, even if she did die, she would return, she would find Iblis and slaughter him for his atrocities against his kingdom and brother.
Her feet took her to unknown corners of the forest, she was new to this forest and probably lost. That didn't matter, Iblis should not get his hands on her. She ran to a certain place, dread oozing off her. Before her were three separate paths as dark as night, she never knew where to go. She never even had the time to decide the path to follow when one of her pursuers appeared afore her. She watched the cloaked figure petrified about the next second, would she be dead by then? Or captured and taken to her mortal enemy. She preferred to run, going back from whence she came, wrong move but she had no choice. Unfortunately for her, the night creature materialized right in front of her.
"Vaya it's me". She removed the hood that was covering her face in order to reveal herself.
"Olive?" Ravaya was shocked seeing the princess.
"I followed you. You are in grave danger". Olive said frantically.
"I made a terrible mistake".
"Follow me. I will cloak your scent". Olive said and began moving in the left pathway.
Ravaya followed her, happiness swelling her heart. She was finally going be free from Iblis and go backto Nathan. Would he forgive her for her stupidity? She had broken him. Did they still have a chance?
Just when they were about exiting the dense forest, they spotted cloaked figures, aligning the forests exit. They made an about turn and found their greatest nightmare. He stood in a meadow, the moonlight settling on his ethereal look. He smirked at them, no one could run away from him. Nothing could sabotage his plans. He was going to kill her and claim her power.
