"Run little girl, run little girl, bang."
Jensen and I stand in the elevator taking us up to my room. On the outside, I may appear calm. Inside however I've turned to jelly. Like trying to figure out where the air has gone from this small space. I'm sure this was bigger when I came down in it earlier. Saying that it didn't have this 6-foot hunk of man in it then. I know there are people in here, but do I need to be pressed so close to him? Who am I kidding? I would be pressed against him if the lift was empty. I'm definitely not complaining, it's just making this needing oxygen thing even harder. Great now my head is thinking about things getting harder. So not helping, bad brain. I Can feel the heat rising as my cheeks turn red. What floor am I on again?
We leave the elevator on what I believe is the right floor for my room. I have to double-check my room key to make sure and confirm the room number. All rational thought has left my brain. I'm about 5 minutes away from making a complete idiot of myself. I feel Jensen's hand on my lower back, and it feels like it's burning through the back of my dress. I open my room door and walk in. Placing my bag down and heading to the minibar. Jensen removes his jacket and comes over to join me. I feel the need to kneel instead of remaining bent over. Some things are just too tempting. I look over my shoulder and ask.
"Anything you fancy?"
"Well, how do I answer that." He grins.
"To drink. I meant to drink." I respond passing him several miniature bottles of alcohol and then grabbing some cans of soda and nuts. We both sit at the table and start mixing drinks.
"So, tell me a bit about yourself?" He asks as I feel his leg rub against mine as he tries to get comfortable.
"How about we play a game?"
"You really need to start wording things better before you get a man's hopes up!" and there's that gorgeous smirk again. I swear this man is going to be the death of me. But at least I would go happy. I wiggle my eyebrows suggestively before responding.
"How about two truths one lie?"
"Ok, I'm game for that. Want me to go first? I'll start you off easy." He chuckles. "Ok, first one. I'm an actor. Second, I'm an only child. And finally, I played lacrosse in high school."
I pretend to ponder for a beat. I actually know the lie thanks to my 3 am Google search. So, I decide to have some fun with him first.
"Ok, that's harder than you think. Erm, the first ones the lie." I laugh.
"Ah, I see how it is. You like playing dirty." He says whilst reaching out to tickle me.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, Obviously, I know the first one is true. So that leaves two or three." I smile acting as if I'm thinking through the options.
"I'm thinking you definitely have an athletic-looking body so my guess would be number two was a lie."
"Correct, I have an older brother and a younger sister. Although I would like to discuss more about your views on my athletic body." He grins at me. As nervous as I am the conversation is easy and free flowing.
"Well even with clothes on you can see a certain firmness, plus with the close dancing." I cough whilst gesturing with my hands towards his pec area, like an absolute nutball I must add. Jensen takes my hands and ends this awkward moment thank God. We both manage to laugh, and it feels good to know I can be an idiot around him, and he doesn't get angry with me. I lean my head against his shoulder praying for some sort of short-term amnesia strikes him down. All I can say is I'm sorry.
