"I hate to sleep with one eye open, I see the headlights turn to shadows driving past. I hope one night it's not you going. 'Cause you woke up and realized what you could have. You sleep with peace of mind you don't worry, I'm wide awake I know it's gonna hurt me. Least you could do is show a little mercy now. So if you're gonna leave me, leave me, In the middle of the night. Set the bed on fire."

                  Jensen's POV

Everyone is packing up to leave. I still have one more day left but that's my little secret. No one knows of my plans. Everyone thinks I'm taking us all to the airport and my flight leaves an hour after theirs. Part of that story is true. I am driving Steve, Jase and Chris to the airport but then I'm driving straight back here. The only worry I have is making sure Scar is still here when I get back and preferably on her own. I hope that she doesn't go to spend time with some of her friends with everyone leaving is hard enough for her but after the day she's had too. As much as I know she likes her own space I also know how much she's enjoyed having people here. She loves having people here, playing host and looking after everyone. It's that part that breaks my heart because she would make an incredible mother. The fact that some prick has taken that from her makes me want to hurt someone.
"How long before you guys have to go?" Scar asks jarring me from my thoughts before they can head down that dark road.
"We have about half an hour before we need to get going, else we miss our flight  back to L.A." Chris answers.
"I must say if the invitation is still open, I wouldn't mind coming back again sometime soon." This coming from Jase.
"Always. Anytime, I'm happy to have you guys here." She says smiling happily.
"I mean let's be honest here, it won't be long before we have to come here to visit both of them. Our boy seems pretty loved up with both this place and Lettie." Steve adds helpfully and I see Scar blush.
"I mean your not wrong. I could stay down here and just go where I need to for work as and when." I say and resist winking at her but flash her a cheeky grin instead.
"Oh, you think you could, could you? Do I get a say in that cause I think someone has a spare room." She replies.
"Yeah cause you wouldn't have him stay here in a heartbeat." Louisa pipes up making me smile.
"Remember what I said about opinions today. Don't make me get my knife." Scar grumbles. Today went down hill really quickly. I don't know what Rob said but Connor's comment was bad enough. I have to say I have never been prouder of anyone as I was when she put him in his place. She had a point, the only reason she knows everyone's business is because she's the one they all talk to. That's not her fault. That's on them. The same way they all think it's OK to kick off at her when something pisses them off. I should have known she was strong enough to take it, doesn't stop the strong need in me to protect her though. Do you think if I just came here every weekend and move a little bit of stuff in each time she would notice? Like just slowly move in until I never left. Yeah, she would probably notice and kick me out before I've actually moved in.

Saying goodbye was hard. So much harder than last time. I'm not even actually leaving and it was still hard. Probably because how much she was struggling.
"You doing OK? I thought the smile might have dimmed even just a little now you've had to say goodbye." Jase says from next to me.
"That's cause I have a secret." I say.
"Do tell." Chris says from the back of the car.
"I already know his secret." Steve says full of cockiness.
"Do you fuck." I say there's no way he can know.
"I do cause I know you."
"Go on then. What do you think my big secret is."
"You aren't going home." He's laughing his ass off at me.
"We all know that, dickhead. He's going to his families for Thanks Giving." Chris says slapping him on the back of the head.
"I didn't mean that. I meant he's not leaving. He's going back to hers." Steve clarifies. How the hell did he figure that out.

"I swear you get stupider each time you open your mouth." Jase adds to the mix.

"Yeah, don't see him denying it do you? Go on Jen . Tell them i'm wrong." Mother fucker. I'm sure I owe him a good few punches by now.
