"Turned on the radio, stupid song made me think of you. I listened for a minute, then I changed it."

Scarlett's POV

What the fuck did I just do? What on earth was going through my head?

"Hey, you ok? You look like you're going to be sick." Erin asks as she sits next to me and puts her arm around my shoulder.

"Nope, nowhere near. I may have just ended a phone call with the words love you bye. To someone I really shouldn't have." Erin laughs.

"I'm sure the supplier will forgive you." She must see something in the look on my face because by the next time she speaks she's figured it out. "So you've just told Jensen you love him?"

"Fuck's sake. I told him it was a slip of the tongue, a lot on my mind you know?"

"He buy that?"

"How the fuck should I know. I also told him I do love him as a friend. How pathetic was that. He's probably sat there with a huge smug smirk on his face. Arsehole."

"The question is, do you love him?"

"Will you behave yourself woman! I spent a handful of days with him. We agreed to just be friends. Well I agreed he kept going on about proving to

me this could work as more. But it can't and anything else would just be stupid to hope for. That's all this is. I love him as a friend like I love you guys."

"Ok, if you say so." she gives me a look I can't figure out but I know I want to wipe it off her face with the wall. I grumble under my breath as I move to stand.

"Come on, stop getting wild ideas and let's get on stage."

We perform our usual Friday night show. We sing in my bar. It gives us a chance to try out any new material. Test the waters with things. It's a nice way to interact with people who actually know who we are and come just to listen to us. That's kind of novel after the last few weeks. After we finish our set, we move to sit in what we class as our VIP section. Although in reality it's just a slightly raised platform off in the back corner with a wooden railing around it, but it works for us. We even have our own bar section over there so we can get our drinks easier. If the place is busy and there is no staff to spare either myself or Caleb jumps behind. There's no way I would trust these lot to serve their own drinks.

It's a quieter one for us tonight. Leo has gone home to Lilly, bless him. She's really struggling at the moment with morning sickness. It's every time she looks at or even thinks about food. I must admit seeing her suffer the way she is makes me a little less upset that I can't go through it. Louisa and Oliver have gone on a date night. Either that or Ollie is still avoiding me after the other night. After serving our drinks Caleb sits at the bar with Chloe. So that just leaves myself, Erin, Rob, Haley and Connor a round our table.

The conversation turns to something that's been stressing me out a little.

"So how many idea's have you come up with for new songs since the contracts been floating around?" Connor asks me.

"A few. I'm struggling a little if I'm honest. I start something then scrap it because it doesn't feel right. Then I've got about fifteen that I like the direction they are heading but need more work."

"You do know we probably have enough songs to already fill about eight albums already, don't you?" Erin says chuckling to herself.

"You're stressing far too much Lettie. Chill, we have plenty of time to come up with stuff." Rob says.
