A/N
I had the Applebee's limitless boneless wings the other day so that pretty much inspired this story lmaoPrompt:
You and Geoff sat across from each other at a cozy corner booth in the local wing joint. The aroma of sizzling chicken wings wafted through the air, teasing your hungry stomachs. You had decided to have a friendly competition to see who could devour the most boneless wings, and the stakes were high. The winner would earn eternal bragging rights, while the loser would have to suffer the consequences of a dreaded food baby.
The waiter approached your table, a notepad in hand, ready to take your mammoth order. "So, how many wings are we talking here?" the waiter asked, raising an eyebrow.
Geoff grinned mischievously, flashing a thumbs-up. "We'll start with... fifty each. And keep 'em coming, man!"
You raised an eyebrow, slightly skeptical of Geoff's ambitious choice. "Alright, fifty it is. But don't say I didn't warn you."
As the first batch of wings arrived, piping hot and slathered in various mouthwatering sauces, both of you dug in. The conversation was momentarily drowned out by the sound of crunching bones and smacking lips. It was a race against time, as well as each other, to devour as many wings as possible.
"You know," Geoff managed to say between bites, a sauce-smeared grin spreading across his face, "this is some major wing action we got going on here!"
You chuckled, nodding in agreement. "Indeed, Geoff. But let's not forget the consequences of our gluttony."
As the plates emptied and the wing count steadily increased, the atmosphere became increasingly competitive. Geoff's laughter and animated commentary filled the air, while your intense focus and silent determination kept you on track. The friendly banter turned into a battle of wills, each bite bringing you guys closer to victory or defeat.
Suddenly, a sharp pang of pain shot through your stomach, causing you to wince. Geoff noticed your discomfort and leaned closer, concern etched across his face. "You okay there, buddy?"
You managed a weak smile, clutching your belly. "Just a little food baby kicking in, but nothing I can't handle."
Geoff's eyes widened, and he winced as a similar pain gripped his own stomach. "Uh-oh, I think our wing challenge might have backfired."
The waiter, who had been keeping a close eye on the two competitors, approached their table with a mixture of amusement and concern. "How are we doing here, folks? Ready for another round?"
You and Geoff exchanged glances, and in unison, shook your heads. "Not today," you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
The waiter chuckled, understanding the situation. "Alright then, let me bring you the check. And maybe a couple of antacids."
As the two of you sat there, nursing your food babies and reflecting on the absurdity of your challenge, a sense of camaraderie filled the air. Despite the pain and discomfort, you couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.
Geoff leaned back in his seat, his trademark smile never fading. "You know what? Even though we're both suffering right now, I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. It's all about the memories, man!"
You nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips. "You're right, Geoff. This is definitely a memory we won't forget."
As you paid the bill and slowly made your way out of the wing joint, both of you walked with a noticeable waddle. The food baby challenge may not have had a clear winner, but in the end, the bond between you and Geoff had grown stronger, and the shared experience was worth every cramp.
Questions to keep in mind as you envision yourself interacting with Geoff:
How close are you to Geoff? Do you see him as a friend or something more? Why did you guys want to eat wings? Who decided that you guys should turn the hangout into a competition? What kind of wings are your favorite? Is this set in the Total Drama universe or an alternate universe? How old are you guys?
