Prompt:

As you walked up the path to Duncan's house, you couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. Duncan, the rebellious punk, had invited you over to watch a horror film with a few friends. You couldn't pass up the opportunity to spend time with him and the rest of the crew: Gwen, Leshawna, Izzy, Owen, and Geoff. The thought of spending an evening together filled you with anticipation.

As the door swung open, you were greeted by Duncan's signature smirk. "Glad you could make it," he said, holding the door open for you. "Welcome to my humble abode."

You stepped inside, taking in the decor that adorned the walls. The living room was dimly lit, creating an eerie yet cozy atmosphere. Gwen was sitting on the couch, engrossed in a book. Leshawna joined her, chatting animatedly.

Izzy and Owen were huddled near the TV, arguing over which horror film to watch. Izzy held up a DVD case, her eyes shining with excitement. "How about 'The Haunting of Hollow Hill'? It's supposed to be the scariest movie ever!"

Owen scratched his head, a hint of hesitation in his voice. "Are you sure it's not too intense, Iz? I don't want nightmares."

Geoff laughed, slapping Owen on the back. "Come on, dude! It's just a movie. Besides, we'll have each other for moral support."

Duncan smirked and walked over to join the group. "Izzy's got a point. Let's watch that one. We could all use a good scare."

As the movie started, you found yourself seated next to Duncan on the couch. The tension in the room grew as the movie unfolded, each jump scare met with gasps and nervous laughter. Duncan, despite his tough exterior, occasionally flinched, letting out a playful curse word.

Gwen, always perceptive, noticed the growing closeness between you and Duncan. She leaned over, a small smile playing on her lips. "Looks like you've got yourself a protector," she whispered, her voice filled with teasing as she noticed the close proximity between you two.

You blushed, trying to hide your embarrassment. "Oh, come on, Gwen. It's just a movie."

Leshawna chimed in, her voice filled with amusement. "Sure, sure. Just a movie. But I see the way he looks at you, honey. Duncan might not admit it, but he's got a soft spot for you."

You glanced at Duncan, who was now pretending to be engrossed in the movie, but there was a faint blush on his cheeks. You couldn't help but smile, feeling a warmth spread through your body.

As the movie reached its climax, the tension in the room peaked. You instinctively moved closer to Duncan, seeking comfort and protection. His arm wrapped around your shoulder, pulling you into a reassuring embrace. Together, you watched the terrifying conclusion, you finding solace in his presence.

When the credits rolled, the room erupted into nervous laughter and relieved sighs. Duncan looked down at you, his teal eyes softening. "You okay?"

You nodded, a mixture of excitement and contentment in your voice. "Yeah, thanks to you."

Duncan smirked, his tough-guy facade fading for a moment. "No problem, Y/N. You know I've got your back."

Questions to keep in mind as you envision yourself interacting with Duncan:

Have you been over to Duncan's house before? Have you ever thought about dating Duncan? Has he always been protective of you? Do you think Duncan likes you? How long have you known each other for? What about the rest of the crew?
