Prompt:

You, Noah, and Cody found yourselves entering a dimly lit room, filled with various locks, puzzles, and riddles.

"Alright, team," Noah said with a sly grin. "Let's see if we can escape this place before we lose our minds."

Cody nodded enthusiastically. "You got it, buddy! We'll show them that underdogs can conquer anything!"

As you began exploring the room, you stumbled upon a locked cabinet. "Hey, guys, I think I found something!" you called out.

Noah raised an eyebrow. "You mean other than our impending doom?"

Ignoring his sarcasm, you continued, "No, seriously, there's a lock on this cabinet. Maybe it holds a clue or something."

Cody's eyes lit up. "Let me give it a shot! I've always been good with numbers." He examined the lock and started to fiddle with it. "Hmm, okay, maybe if I try this combination... no, not that... how about... yes!"

The cabinet door swung open, revealing a set of keys. "Nice work, Cody!" you praised.

Noah smirked. "Huh. Underdogs can be resourceful."

As you moved forward, you found another clue hidden behind a painting. "Hey, guys, look what I found!" you exclaimed.

Noah groaned. "Oh great, more riddles. Just what we needed."

Cody chuckled, nudging Noah playfully. "Come on, Noah, where's your sense of adventure?"

Noah rolled his eyes. "Fine, let's hear it."

You cleared your throat and read the riddle aloud. "I have keys but no locks. I have space but no room. You can enter, but you can't go outside. What am I?"

Cody scratched his head, deep in thought. "Hmm, keys but no locks... space but no room... you can enter, but you can't go outside... I'm stumped!"

Noah raised an eyebrow. "Well, it's obviously not your brain, Cody."

You stifled a laugh and then chimed in, "It's a keyboard! The keys, the spacebar, and you enter information, but you can't physically go outside of it."

Cody's face lit up with excitement. "Of course! You're brilliant, Y/N!"

Noah grumbled, "Or maybe the riddle was just too easy."

With the clue in hand, you all made your way to a locked door. Cody eagerly tried the keys until one finally clicked, allowing the door to swing open. Inside, you found yet another challenge—an intricate maze.

Noah crossed his arms. "Great, a maze. Just what I always wanted."

Cody's eyes sparkled with determination. "Don't worry, Noah! I've got a photographic memory, so I'll memorize the path while you two argue."

As Cody started tracing his finger along the maze, Noah couldn't help but smirk. "Photographic memory, huh? That explains how you remembered every formula in Calculus."

Cody shot back, "Hey, at least I have a better memory than someone who spends all their time buried in books."

You couldn't help but chuckle at their banter, but you also knew time was ticking. "Alright, alright, enough arguing, you two. Cody, any luck with the maze?"

Cody grinned triumphantly. "Got it! Follow me!"

With Cody leading the way, you navigated the maze with ease, reaching the end in record time. As the door creaked open, you found yourselves in a room filled with holographic puzzles and challenges.

Noah raised an eyebrow. "Well, this just screams 'overcomplicated.'"

Cody's eyes glittered with excitement. "This is amazing! I've always wanted to try holographic puzzles! Let's dive in!"

And so, the three of you dove headfirst into the holographic challenges, working together, arguing playfully, and laughing along the way. Noah's sarcastic comments provided a constant comedic relief, while Cody's resourcefulness and intelligence shone through in every puzzle..

After what felt like an eternity of solving puzzles and cracking codes, you finally reached the last room. The tension was palpable as you faced the final challenge—a massive, spinning combination lock.

Noah sighed, "Well, it was fun while it lasted. Too bad we're doomed."

Cody grinned, patting Noah on the shoulder. "Not so fast, Noah! We've come this far, and we're not giving up now!"

Together, you worked tirelessly, spinning the lock, trying different combinations, until finally, it clicked open. The door swung open, revealing the bright lights and cheers from the escape room staff.

"We did it!" you exclaimed, sharing a triumphant high-five with Noah and Cody.

Noah smirked. "Well, color me impressed. Maybe underdogs can have their day."

Cody beamed. "And sarcastic bookworms can crack a smile."
