52- Waking Up in Duncan's Lap

You jolted awake to find yourself in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable position. As your blurry vision cleared, you realized you were laying in Duncan's lap. Panic washed over you as you tried to make sense of the situation. How did you end up here?

Duncan, the notorious bad boy, smirked down at you, his piercing teal eyes gleaming mischievously. "Well, well, looks like you finally woke up," he said, his voice oozing with amusement. "Not exactly the way I expected this to go, but hey, I'm not complaining."

Confused and flustered, you quickly scrambled off Duncan's lap, feeling your cheeks burn with embarrassment. "What just happened?" you stammered, trying to gather your thoughts.

Duncan chuckled, his voice low and husky. "Relax, sweetheart. We had to sleep in the woods for our challenge, remember?"

You glanced around, taking in your surroundings. The dense forest surrounded you, with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves filling the air.

"How did I end up in your lap, though?" You asked as your other teammates slowly started to wake up. "I don't remember falling asleep or even coming near you."

Duncan shrugged, his signature smirk never leaving his face. "Beats me. Maybe my rugged charm was too much for you to handle, and you just couldn't resist."

Rolling your eyes, you crossed your arms and shot him a skeptical look. "Yeah, right. More like you pulled some prank or tricked me."

Duncan chuckled again, a low and throaty sound that sent shivers down your spine. "Alright, fine. You caught me. I may or may not have nudged you a little while you were dozing off. But hey, it's all part of the game, right?"

You sighed, realizing that arguing with Duncan was a futile endeavor. "Fine, whatever. Let's just focus on getting back to camp before the Gophers. I don't want to be stuck out here forever."

Duncan's eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief as he stood up, brushing off imaginary dirt from his jeans. "You're right. Let's beat those loser Gophers back to camp."
