Prompt:

You and Cody sat side by side on the couch, both feeling a bit down as you gazed out the window on yet another rainy day. Cody absentmindedly scrolled through his phone while you couldn't shake off the growing boredom.

Feeling your frustration, you let out a loud groan, catching Cody's attention. Concerned, he set his phone down and looked at you.

"What's the matter, Y/N?" he asked, sitting up straight.

You slouched and confessed, "I really dislike rainy days. They make me feel so bored and restless."

Cody pondered for a moment before suddenly jumping up and dashing to the bedroom. Curious, you sat up and waited to see what he had in mind.

A few minutes later, Cody returned, struggling to carry a pile of blankets and pillows in his arms. You raised an eyebrow, wondering what he was up to.

"What's going on?" you asked as Cody started draping a blanket over an armchair.

Cody flashed you a toothy grin. "We're going to build a fort! Trust me, it'll be a blast!"

Although the idea seemed a bit childish, you couldn't help but be intrigued. With a shrug, you decided to go along with it and joined Cody in creating the fort.

Together, you rearranged the furniture in the living room, transforming it into a cozy nook in the corner.

"I can't believe we're building a fort like kids," you chuckled, shaking your head as you handed Cody a blanket.

"Come on, Y/N! Embrace your inner child!" he exclaimed, placing the blanket over the couch. "Sometimes the simplest things can bring us the most joy."

Encouraged by Cody's infectious enthusiasm, you let go of any reservations and fully embraced the fun of building the fort.

Before you knew it, the fort was complete. You and Cody crawled inside, snuggling up together as the sound of raindrops against the window created a soothing ambiance.

"Thank you, Cody," you said, scooting closer to him. "You've made this rainy day so much more enjoyable."

Cody turned to face you, his eyes softening. "Anything for you, Y/N. I'm glad I could brighten up your day."
