51- Tyler Asks You Out on a Date

Prompt:

As you exited the school building, you spotted Tyler standing near his car, nervously fidgeting with his keys. His friendly smile brightened as he caught sight of you headed towards your car in the same row as his, and he quickly made his way over.

"Hey there! I, uh, I've been wanting to talk to you," Tyler stammered, his cheeks turning a shade of pink.

You tilted your head curiously, intrigued by his sudden nervousness. "Sure, Tyler. What's on your mind?"

Tyler took a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts while you pulled out your car keys. "Well, um, you see... I was wondering if you'd maybe want to, like, go out with me? Maybe grab some ice cream or catch a movie or something?"

A mix of surprise and delight washed over you, and a smile formed on your lips.

"I'd love to go out with you, Tyler," you replied, your voice filled with warmth. "Ice cream sounds perfect. I know this great little place not too far from here."

Relief flooded Tyler's face, his eyes lighting up. "That's awesome! I mean, uh, great! I'm really excited!"

Just as the words escaped his lips, Tyler's foot caught on the edge of a crack in the pavement, causing him to stumble forward. In a flurry of arms and legs, he managed to catch his balance, but not without a slight blush of embarrassment.

You couldn't help but chuckle, finding his clumsiness endearing. "Careful there, Tyler. We don't want any injuries before our big date."

Tyler laughed nervously, scratching the back of his head. "Yeah, I guess I got a bit carried away there. But hey, at least I'm always good for a laugh, right?"

"Absolutely," you replied, playfully nudging his shoulder. "I admire your ability to bring joy into any situation, even if it means showing off your clumsy side every once and a while."

A genuine smile spread across Tyler's face, and he leaned against your car, his shoulders relaxing. "Thanks, Y/N. That means a lot to me. I hope you know I'm really excited about this date."
