"You're a bad influence on me," I tell him, buttoning my shirt up again.
He shrugs, "Pretty sure you like that."
I roll my eyes, a small smile on my face. My legs were still weak as I sat on his bed, folded beneath me in a criss-cross position. He just got finished cleaning me up with a warm rag, his eyes watching me as I got dressed again.
I frowned as he pulled his shirt off, "What are you doing?"
"Taking a nap, all my afternoon classes are shit," he tells me before stalking forward towards me and laying back on his bed, his abs stretching as he brought his arms up to act as a pillow for his head. My mouth waters at the sight.
He catches me staring and smirks.
I blush and look away.
I squeal when I feel an arm wrap around my waist and pull me back. "What the hell?" I squeak as he entangles our bodies together. I cringe as I feel my uniform get crinkled beneath us, no doubt getting wrinkled. It would be a bitch to iron out, but I couldn't get out of his strong grasp, not that I wanted to.
"Take a nap with me," he murmurs in my ear, his arm still wrapped firmly around me.
"Who knew Nikolas Cairo was a cuddler?" I grumble, trying not to show how much his touch affected me. My blood was buzzing beneath my skin and my heart was beating a mile a minute as I felt him press against me. I felt so small in his arms, his firm, muscular frame completely enveloping mine.
"I'm not, but you make me want to do things that I don't usually do," he says, his voice void of any emotions. My eyes widen at his confession. I knew he would never feel for me, but I still couldn't help but take his words seriously and give myself hope that our circumstances were different.
I don't respond to him and just lean back onto his hard chest, letting his warmth surround me. We were so close, his breathing hitting my skin, his scent blanketing me, yet I wanted to be closer, to have him plastered against me wasn't enough. I needed more of him like I needed oxygen.
I don't know how long we spend in that position, me in his arms, but soon I hear the door downstairs being opened, reminding me that I was in someone elses house.
"Nikolas!" I hear someone boom from downstairs. The man in question behind me groans. He must've actually fallen asleep. Meanwhile I couldn't move an inch, my eyes wide at the fact that I was cuddling with Nikolas Cairo.
I turn slightly so that I could see his face, and his arms tighten around me. I bite my lip so that I don't make any noise, getting an idea. Raising my arm so I could grab one of his pillows, I grip it tightly in hand, getting ready to attack. He had a pinched look on his face, even when he was sleeping, his eyebrows furrowed and his lips turnt down in a snarl, yet he looked so calm and unbothered. I almost felt bad that I was going to disturb that.
Without stalling myself any further, I bring the pillow down to smack him on the chest. It was difficult since he had me wrapped so tightly around him, but I made it work.
His eyes snapped open as an 'oompf' left his lips. A laugh bubbled out of my chest.
The look on his face was frantic as he looked directly into my soul before it froze into a look of amusement.
"Oh, you're dead, Sunshine," he murmurs, making another giggle leave my lips. I take the oppurtunity to bolt out of his bed and onto the floor. I smooth my uniform over with my hands before sticking my tongue out at him and running into his bathroom.
I slam the door behind me, my heart pounding in my chest and my stomach aching from laughing.
"Open the door, June," I heard the amusment in his voice.
