CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX - A SONG OF THORNS.

"There was a woman who wore a crown made out of thorns,

worn and torn from the war that had dawned;

Her eyes hopeless and dismayed,

Afraid of what was made,

Her legs bare and her heart scared;

Her hands spiked with cuts and bruises,

From the prickles that carved her cutis;

In despair and anguish from the pain she had to endure,

She turned her hurt into something she would insure,

The sadness and pity,

Turned into enmity;

And there she dug her grasp into the thorns,

To reassure that the only thing that could hurt her was the crown made out of thorns."

Awkwardly, Isabella simpered graciously towards her husband who had closed the book he had written his composition in. Within the time Isabella had been pregnant, Kai had joined a poetry club to express his creative odes in and Isabella had been happy he had found something to waste time in instead of hyper-fixating about receiving the Oraphim's approval.

"The poem is called A Song of Thorns," Kai candidly imported, "it's based on your struggles from your past and how you've overcome them and became a stronger woman," he frankly elucidated hastily making himself comfortable on the chair he had sat on.

"Thank you," Isabella gracefully applauded, she had gently held one week Ivy in her arms, to her surprise her pregnancy with Ivy had been facile, especially with the help of Hana and Lana, twin women that have helped Isabella with each trimester of her pregnancy with the little girl and her labour. Hana, the older twin was just as devoted into the Ophanim religion just as Kai, whereas Lana, the twin Isabella had grown closest to was laid back about the faith but she had practiced it from time to time.
