It had been at least a week following the time Isabella had been with Adam, subsequent to their physical intimacy, Isabella had been intentionally avoiding the man who made numerous attempts to speak to her. On the other hand, Isabella hadn't seen Joel ever since their home date and Isabella had wondered if she ran off Joel with her erotic nature.
Moreover, Isabella had remembered today was the first day for Ivy's patrol with her partner Rowan and Venus had recently come back from her piano lessons with Kaylee, Isabella would have liked picking up Venus from there but that would mean she would have to come in contact with one of the Lorde twins and that was not on her list of things to do today, but to Isabella's luck, Kaylee had dropped off Venus back home out of her somewhat kindness.
Venus gracefully greeted her mother before she worked on her school homework forasmuch as the moment she left the Jackson Community School, she went to the Lorde lodge right after school finished for her.
"Nice seeing you," Kaylee gently welcomed, her arms were folded as her hands cupped her elbows, her stance awkward and incompetent, Isabella slowly nodded her head as she released a hum in response. "I'm glad you made it back safe, Jackson would've returned looking gloomy without you," Kaylee jokingly complimented.
"Thank you."
"So, um, Adam has been looking for you," Kaylee shortly mentioned and Isabella groused in her mind.
"Has he?" Isabella inquired, in fake curiosity.
Clueless of Isabella's unconcerned and avoidant manner, Kaylee stepped into the Rosalind cabin, buoyant to speak about Isabella's current bond with her brother. "Yeah, he said he's been looking all over for you, has even tried coming her but no progress."
"So, is that why you're here?" Isabella investigated, apprehensive of the female twin that stood before her.
Gracelessly, Kaylee simpered at Isabella's question, caught red-handed. "I mean, the night was quite eventful for you to be avoiding him," Kaylee truthfully replied, "we just wanted to know if you were fine and if there were any changes."
