Lee Ashley's fate has been decided long before she picked up the Serpent Jacket and chose to reconcile with her past.

Her decision to become involved once more with the underworld might've been her own, but her rise to power and the fall of Lee Soobin had been orchestrated by two of the Bangtan OGs long before she stepped foot into the darkness of the underworld, the world she once owned.

A few months ago, when Min Yoongi had a very important conversation with Kim Namjoon concerning Lee Ashley and her future, they decided to give her the benefit of the doubt as they didn't want to believe that she had anything to do with her brother's wrongdoings. Which in time was proven to be correct, as she was indeed in complete darkness of Soobin's way of conducting business.

After a thorough research was conducted by Jimin's spies, it was all but proven that not only Ashley was ignorant of what was going on, but also a large part of the Serpents had no idea where the sudden money started flowing in from.

They discovered that Lee Soobin had a surprising amount of knowledge about the situation, yet he stubbornly refused to adhere to the Bangtan rules, knowing it would greatly impact his profits.

However, they were certain that Soobin couldn't be the mastermind orchestrating the Serpent dealings, nor could he be a genuine member of the Dragon Ring. It had to be someone within his inner circle, someone who whispered secrets into his ear, possessing extraordinary talents in scheming, strategizing, combat, and espionage.

KD was immediately ruled out as a suspect, as his expertise lay in physical combat rather than intricate planning and strategy.

The one person who perfectly fit the profile was none other than the Ghost.

Yoongi had harbored suspicions about him for a while, and now he was certain it was him. His suspicions about the Ghost had been growing steadily, and now they had solidified into a conviction. His theory gained further validation when Taehyung conducted interrogations with the girls they had recently saved from the ship they had raided, initially believing it to be a simple drug bust.

As the girls spilled their secrets, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. Their testimonies revealed a hidden network, a web of deceit and manipulation that went far beyond what they had initially anticipated. The ship was not just a vessel for drugs; it was a hub for illegal activities orchestrated by the Dragon Ring.

Their information aligned with what Yoongi had discovered in Marcella's files. At first, it seemed like a stretch, a leap of faith to connect the dots. But as they uncovered more evidence, the truth became undeniable.

It was as if Marcella had been one step ahead, anticipating their every move. Her insights into the inner workings of the Serpent dealings, and the Dragon Ring's involvement were eerily precise. It was almost as if she had been an insider, privy to their darkest secrets.
