Deceit us the game of pretty spirits,
and that is by nature a woman's quality.

It felt like slipping back into an old habit.
One she admittedly had missed a lot. Racing was like second nature to her. The one thing that made her feel like that thing inside her chest was still beating. One that made her feel alive and high on adrenaline and rush.
Yes. She had missed this.
The screeching of the tires echoed in the driveway as she accelerated to reach the biker racing ahead. Breaking out of the mansion was easy, what followed next was the hardest part. Just like Rose had warned the men guarding the premises were on bike and they would surely go after them. So they should first lose them in a big crowd and then go to where they originally wanted to be.
And so it happened. They lured the guards in the main roads and lost most of them along the way. They lost the ones following them by car first, which was understandable considering they got stuck behind by traffic. Three bikers who had fallen behind because their tires were torn by Rose's vicious knife.
There was one bike who escaped or she had left on purpose in order for them to have some fun on the road. Knowing Rose, it was the latter. The last biker left was now trying to catch up to them, but he was too far and had no real chances of keeping up with them.
They entered an empty road.
It was now or never!
She feeds the clutch right up to the point it bites. The road was empty as if someone had cleared it out for especially them to race. She started to catch up to Rose, the engine fuming a satisfying hum. She fought off a smirk as the cars behind her started to look smaller than ants.
She could tell there was a double twist coming up on the road.
"Here we go baby!" she exclaimed inside the helmet fighting the urge to laugh like a madman.
Ashley increases the revs gradually, shadowing the now close enough opponent.
There was a twist coming up and it was her chance to surpass her.
She entered the corner with the throttle closed which would load the front suspension, allowing the bike to turn more easily. She turned the bike early on the ninety-degree turn, opting to take the fastest root and surpass the competition. Unfortunately, when you enter a corner this fast, you can't get on the throttle as quickly and you lose speed, which was what happened.
