The warehouse was dimly lit, the air thick with tension that clung like an invisible fog. Dust particles floated lazily in the weak beams of sunlight that managed to sneak through the cracked windows. Footsteps echoed through the vast, empty space, growing louder as three figures approached.
Lee Ashley led the way, her steps purposeful and measured. Dressed in all black, wearing the characteristic Serpent leather jacket, her eyes were locked ahead, unyielding, a vision of controlled fury.
Behind her, a man moved with a similar sense of determination. His gaze darted around, ever vigilant, his muscles taut and ready for anything. KD's alertness was palpable, his every step calculated.
Bringing up the rear, another man walked with a more relaxed demeanor. Despite his easy-going stride, his eyes betrayed a sharpness that suggested he missed nothing. This was Beanie, and his nonchalance was merely a façade.
As they neared their destination, the people they were meeting came into view. Standing with their guards up, every muscle tense, Yoongi and Hoseok were ready for whatever was about to unfold, so was JK hovering a few feet behind them. The air between the two groups crackled with a mix of mistrust and wariness.
"Evening, gentlemen," Ashley greeted, her voice cold and unwavering as she locked eyes with Agust D. "As promised, I brought the stolen ammo. Or rather... half of it."
With a swift movement, she tossed a duffel bag at Suga's feet, the metallic clink of bullets resonating ominously as it hit the ground. Suga's eyes flickered, a blend of irritation and curiosity crossing his face.
"The rest is being unloaded outside," she said with a wicked smirk.
"Half?" Agust D questioned, his tone dripping with disdain. "Where's the rest? I thought we had a deal."
"We did," Ashley crossed her arms, her stance defiant. "You'll get the rest when you 'consider' stopping playing around with my best friend's life. I thought José and I were clear the other day."
Hoseok, standing beside him, raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by the unfolding drama. He had grown to somewhat like Marcella the past few days. Not only because she was really good at listening and exercising without complaining, but also because she seemed to make their lives more interesting by rattling Yoongi to his core. He's been a bit strange lately and it's been fun for him and Jimin to observe him. Namjoon had his reservations, of course, but Hoseok was curious about this new behavior.
Agust D's expression darkened at her words, and he took a step forward, his presence radiating menace.
"Is that so?" His voice was dangerously low. "Let's not get personal, Halsey. Business is business."
