She fought a smile at their collective gasps. Even their eyebrows seemed to be synchronized as they raised in perfect sync. JK still looked murderous but the rest of them seemed to consider what Marcella was saying.
"How do we know your information is valid?" JK spat taking a few steps closer. V was still looking at her as if weighing everything up and the short guy seemed to look unfocused but tense. Still waiting for an attack at any given moment.
Only the mention of the Dragons' name was enough to put everyone on edge it seemed. There were two other members she hadn't paid much attention to till now. They were in the darker corners behind the rest of the gang members. Still close to the black car hiding in the darkness.
One of them was wearing leather boots and black matching clothes that seemed too extravagant but fitting at the same time. The other had the same attire only it looked less cared for, though still expensive. The one thing that stood out from the second guy that she could faintly see was the tattoo on his wrist and the hair. He was probably the soldier, Jackson, a relatively new prospect in Bangtan, making his way up the ranks pretty fast. Maybe she should ask him for some tips.
The first boy she couldn't quite identify; which basically meant he was one of the Old Ones, The three hidden cards only a handful of people knows about. The founders of the Sons; RM, J-HOPE, and AGUST D were practically ghosts to anyone that they haven't revealed themselves to. There was not even the slightest digital trace of them online and she's been looking for years now. If she was the Queen of hacking their hacker was the King, he was that good at protecting their data.
As Marcella took notice of the men surrounding her, V was debating what to do. He was ordered to get whatever money the Kung boy offered - if any - and then kill him. He felt guilty for not trying to change his mind more vigorously. Maybe Danny was right, perhaps he did have his ear, he might have spared him if he had asked. At the time, his hyung was certain the boy wouldn't manage to pay back and he was - as usual - correct. His orders were clear, but the situation was too confusing to him now. This girl messed his plans. This was his first mission as an underboss and it seemed it would start with trouble.
Danny plaid this hand good. His sister showing up in his stead was a deflective move, except if he believed the story of her coming on her own volition - which considering her attitude wasn't unimaginable. The second win for him was giving them back more than he or Suga expected to collect. Though what tilted the odds in their favor was her claim to have the information they were dying to get their hands on.
Anything concerning the Dragons was something they should immediately know. They had taken something of theirs and they weren't ones that would let a theft pass unavenged. Especially considering the value of it. In any case, V concluded this is something that Yoongi should hear about.
