They looked at her, and Sage wished that she hadn't opened her mouth. Scott looked at her in a confusing way, but Isaac was completely pale, and Sage wouldn't look him in the eye. She was so worried that she wouldn't be able to speak to him after almost ignoring him for the past week, that part of her wished he wasn't there to torment her emotions. A larger part of her was so relieved that he was here, it almost overpowered her thoughts. She shook away the thought. He wasn't her main priority right now.
"What are you doing here?" Scott asked her. Sage stood their awkwardly, racking her mind for an explanation. I heard some screaming in my head, and I was wondering if the giant lizard who is also a teenage boy has murdered anyone so all of us werewolves could attack the old man who is actually a murder.
Why can life be so complicated sometimes?
"I was hoping to get some information on how Jackson did on the field. Was he playing?"
"Why do you want to know?" Scott countered. He clenched Stiles' jersey in his hands. Sage felt a cold wave of dread pass over her.
"He killed Stiles?"
"No, but why do you care?" Scott asked coldly.
"I just wanted check. We have to keep Jackson at bay, and I wasn't at the game." Sage said.
"We?" Scott said, giving Sage a glare. He was angry. Sage took a delicate step forward, holding a hand out to the jersey.
"Sage, now is not the time." Someone said behind her. Derek stood behind her, along with Peter.
"So you weren't crazy. There's pandemonium on the field." Peter commented. Sage shrugged a tiny bit.
"It was a feeling." She whispered, but to herself.
"What the hell is this?" Scott asked. Sage leaned up against a locker.
"You know, I thought the same thing when I saw you talking to Gerard at the Sheriff's station."
"Ok, hold on! He threatened to kill my mom! Besides! I had to get close to him." Scott cried defensively.
"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." Sage muttered. Derek must have heard her because he whipped her head around to her in anger.
"What!?" Derek growled. "You're on his side? You're supporting this?" Sage stood up straighter from the locker and stood in the middle. The rage was pounding in her head.
"I am not siding with anyone!" She glared at Scott and Derek. "It's starting to bother me that you two pretending to 'work together' but really you two think that you are siding against each other! There are no sides between you two."
Derek looked at Sage like he wanted to snap her neck, but he kept his mouth shut, probably because he had learned that it wasn't a good idea to interrupt Sage when she was having her uncommon rants.
"You and I both know that everyone is acting as if there were sides! We are all the same! They are the enemies! I may not interfere much, but I see what's going on! They are the ones that are trying to kill us all! It may not look like it, but Scott might be right. Sure, it might seem insane that he has been giving away information about us, but it's smart. If there is any way to get close to him, it to keep him interested. It's starting to make me really angry of what's going on between all of the shape shifters, and I suggest we all do something to fix it before we all get ourselves killed!" She yelled ferociously. Behind Derek, Peter looked very impressed. Sage took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. "Now that topic has been cleared up, let's get down to what is actually important to all of us. Peter thinks that he knows how to stop Jackson."
