Sage wondered what the whole point in Lacrosse was. There was no body form, no grace at all, just a bunch of teenagers probably on steroids slamming into one another. She could barely keep track of what was going on from behind the bleachers. She made sure that Scott was on the field, and that Erica and Boyd were there. Being an alpha was a strange thing. Sage was definatley connected to her betas, and every day, she was becomming more worried about their safety. Sage had already lost her pack to hunters, and she absolutely refused to lose another.
Sage saw Stiles leaning against a car talking to someone. Stiles was right where Sage wanted him. Derek was sitting the parking lot waiting for Sage's clear. She flashed her red eyes in the darkness, and saw two red eyes flash back.
"Where's Stilinki?" Coach yelled. Stiles's head shot up, and backed away from the car. For some reason, it was probably stupid, he ducked into the school's doors with a set of keys. Sage followed him cautiously, only to find him rummaging around in the principle's office.
Sage watched in in curiosity, and heard Derek's footprints in the hallway. She knocked on the door, and enjoyed Stiles jerk and stare at her.
"Stiles. We need to talk." Sage said, and grabbed his arm. Her hands were locked on his elbow as she lead him down to the pool, where Derek and Erica stood.
Sage released Stiles and he rubbed his arm.
"I thought you were a good guy!" He said. Sage tried not to show emotion.
"Stiles, something is out there that is killing people. It's endangering all of us and we need to find it." Sage said calmly. She had honestly tried to be one of the good people, but she was worried of was was going to happen. Naturally, Sage believed that she was a good person, but when it came to something endangering her pack, she would do anything to anyone.
"What did you see?" Derek ordered. It finally dawned on Sage that Boyd wasn't with Erica. She'd noticed that the two were almost inseperable.
"Where's Boyd?" Sage asked. Erica looked down.
"He's at the game." She said quietly. Her heartrate picked up and Sage knew that she was lying.
"Erica. Where is he?" Erica looked at her and she could see it in her eyes. "He's in the game?" Sage cried. Boyd was on the field, just about to lose control.
Someone must have gotten hurt on the field, because people weren't playing. Sage ran up to Boyd and grabbed his face mask and pulled his head down so that his eyes were meeting hers.
"What the hell are you doing!" She hissed. Boyd growled at her and she jerked him out of it. Sage was anrgy that Boyd would even think of putting himself, their kind, and the people around him. "Boyd! Listen to me. Why would you go on the field when you've had almost no practice in control?" Sage asked.
Boyd didn't say anything, but he looked down. "Boyd, if you don't get off of this field right now, then you will lose control and tear everyone apart. You need to go home right now." Sage ordered. Something burst open inside of her. "Boyd. Go, Home."
Boyd glared at Sage and she growled softly. "I said, go home." She said. Boyd reluctantly obeyed and Sage saw him walk off the field. She let out a small sigh of relief.
At the pool doors, Sage's eyes widened. Erica was on the ground, unconcious, while Derek and Stiles were in the pool. Stiles was holding up Derek as if he couldn't swim himself. Stiles made eye contact with Sage and Stiles mouthed something.
Help. He whispered. Sage rememebered that she'd seen Scott walk out with Allison. Sage made out a reptilian shape in the darkness. A giant lizard was pacing at the pool. Sage's mind started racing. She formulated a very, very, stupid plan. She shoved open the doors, and the lizard stared at her. It was almost a human face staring at her. She swung a clawed hand at its face.

The Other Alpha {Teen Wolf}
