Bright is a vampire born during the first generation of purebloods. His family are known as the strongest because they are one of the few families gifted with such immensely powerful abilities.

He is the youngest of his family and his powers to grant wishes without limit has always been to their advantage. It won him many friends and allies and families from all over the globe travels far just to visit him and ask something.

But of course, Bright wasn't perfectly raised so he only grants wishes on selected vampires. When families wish to have a powerful ability, he immediately refuses it. He only grants wishes to those that will benefit him and his family. Therefore, expanding their influence among their kind.

But after the great genocide. The life of their lifelong race began to crumble. A lot of purebloods were killed. And the hunters spared only nomads and the half bloods because they aren't much of a threat. But nomads are forced to live altogether in one community, watched by humans and werewolves like prisoners. Even though they are free to roam the world, they are forbidden to kill humans unless they want to meet the same fate as purebloods.

Their family was the first to survive it all thanks to their reliable powers. But the head of their family, Bright's father. He could not watch to see his kind suffer and fall.

When he found out that some of their kinds conspired with the humans and werewolves. It made him angry and he felt betrayed. It led to a war and many were killed.

The vampires were outnumbered and they became at a disadvantage. They were cornered.

Others managed to escape while some were left to die. Bright's father, out of guilt, chose to stay and die among those who could not leave. His wife became so heartbroken and swore to do everything in her power that none in their family would die. She swore to avenge their kind.

As they went into hiding, Bright watched as his mother became mad and her heart was filled with rage against humans and werewolves. She gathered all of their allies to start another war and wipe out all werewolves and humans once and for all. Using their magical gifts.

They wanted to make a wish to Bright, all of them so it'll be strong enough to kill everyone who wanted them dead.

Bright didn't want to do it. To him, it'll make them no different than their enemies. He may not be raised perfectly but Bright learned his lesson after losing his father. He knows that everything comes with a price.

So he used what he learned from one of his family members. Seducing a mortal to make her ask a wish from him. That will be enough to counter the wish of his own kind.

Bright got that wish but it also came with a hefty price for him. The girl he seduced wished that his family would forget about him and that they will remain in hiding forever so nobody will die again.

His family are equally powerful as him so the wish that he granted didn't fully work. His family only thinks that he could've been killed or captured by the hunters which was making them put their plan on hold.

Bright knows they're gonna come for him because he is the key to make their plan successful. And in order to avoid that, Bright decided to leave with the human he seduced, her name is Lune.

The two of them ran away and started hiding. But there were too many hunters so they couldn't get too far and had to stay at one secluded place.

Lune and Bright stayed at a cottage somewhere in a tropical country. Over time, Bright fell in love with Lune as she was the only one who cared for him and made sure he would not be found. Lune promised to stay with him forever and to love him with all her heart. Bright was so grateful for her and he believed that it was enough for him to never look back.
