Worlds Away

Nicholas was just coming back from his early shower. He had woken up quite early and decided to wash up before he gets too lazy to do it.

It's Sunday and they still have no classes. He would've planned to hangout with Elijah but he went home to his parents yesterday and he forgot to ask when he'll be returning.

The other wolf, Raze also went home. Everybody knows they always hunt in the Maylock Tills Forest so of course he wouldn't miss that.

Gabriel and Bright are the only one who stayed during the weekends. Although they always talk and practice for their upcoming performances. But he sometimes join them whenever he gets back after going around town. 

But when he woke up today, Gabriel's the only one he saw. He said that Bright went to the bathroom so he figured he'll meet the vampire there.

"He's not here. I bet he got lost again." Nicholas mumbled when he realized that he is the only one in the bathroom.

He didn't ponder much about it and just went on with his business. He finished rather quickly and went back to their dorm. But as soon as he arrived, he noticed the door open when he remembered closing it before he left.

"You and your peers are gonna fu**ing pay for this!!!" It was Raze. That's definitely his voice.

Nicholas hurried inside and found Raze pinning Gabriel to the closets while grabbing his collar. He looks visibly angry.

The human had little to no hesitation before he ran to help the vampire. He pulled Raze away from him with force and pushed him to his bed.

"Stay the fu*k out of this unless you want me to ring your head like a bell!!!" Raze growled at him. Nicholas would be lying if he say he's not scared. Everybody is scared of Raze.

"Why are you hurting him?! He didn't do anything wrong to you!" Nicholas yelled at his face.

"His people fu**ing kill one of our wolf!!!!" Raze exclaimed with evident anger as he pointed at Gabriel's blunt face.

"And did you see him do it!?" Nicholas scowled and swatted his hand rather harshly. "He's with me and Bright the whole time. And we've been nowhere but the music club the entire weekends! So don't fu**ng blame him!" 

Nicholas flinched when Raze suddenly grabbed him by his collar and effortlessly lifted him off the floor. Gabriel also panicked and tried to help the poor human but Raze pushed him to the closet and hurting his shoulder in the process.

"Put me down!!!" Nicholas yelled again.

"Are you seriously defending that bloody leech!?" Raze mocked as he smirked at Gabriel's frowning face. "You're just a human! To him, you're nothing but a sweet little blood bag. He'll kill you before you know it!" Raze added.

"Nicholas!!!" It was Elijah suddenly arriving at the right moment.

He quickly dropped the chocolates he was carrying and was suppose to share to his friends. Then rushing to help Nicholas and grabbed him away from the furious alpha. He puts the human behind him as he faced Raze with an equally angry expression.

"You've always been unreasonable, Raze! Why on earth would you hurt my friends!? Haven't you had enough!"

"Friends?! You call these miscreants your friends!" Raze scoffed and watched while Nicholas helped Gabriel up.

"Shadow was right to never fight for you. You're an embarassment to our kind!" Raze grumbled and suddenly spat on his shirt.

Elijah remained serious. Unlike Nicholas who got offended for him.
