Worlds Away

After class.

Everyone is already talking about where to hang out while some catch up together after their vacations.

Shadow on the other hand had to leave early because of Emily. Their family is very strict when it comes to their omega's safety. And since Emily is always with Shadow, she is responsible for her until she brings him to her brother, Raze.

"Hey Bright! Nicho and I are heading to the cafe outside. Come with us!" Elijah invited him while the vampire waits for them to finish gathering their stuffs.

"I've somewhere to be." He said to them which made the two to exchange looks.

"I'm auditioning for the music club." He said again so they'd understand and the two gave him an 'O' reaction.

"Well. If you finish early. Call us and we'll hang out." Nicholas said to him.

He and Elijah left first while Bright went to search for the music department building.

To be very new at the new world and going out alone was plainly stupid. Because not only was he clueless of where he's going, he didn't know how to look for them or how their place looked like.

Bright figured that maybe he could ask other students, but he feels too intimidated to try and throw a question when he's literally the one who looks like a walking corpse.

He had no idea where to go and just left his feet to walk and take him wherever it wants to go. And eventually, he found himself in front of a gym court.

Bright could hear voices from inside so he figured he's in the right place. But when he got in, he saw a pack of wolves playing basketball. And by the bleachers, a lot of ladies are seated and watching the game. The vampire looked utterly dumbfounded and obviously looked like he was in the completely wrong place.

"Is that a vampire?!"

"What the hell is he doing here?!"

"That bloodsucker is definitely asking for trouble!"

Bright heard their voices as they all started noticing him. He might've panicked because Bright only becomes clumsy whenever he gets caught. He stepped back and accidentally slipped because of the newly mopped floor. He stood up right away and tried to open the door quickly but he was pushing it the wrong way.

"Hey bloodsucker!!!" One of the players obviously called out to him but he of course, chose to ignore.

"Why won't it open??!" Bright groaned and tried pulling the door hard but it's almost as if someone is pulling it on the other side.

He started hearing footsteps approaching him from behind so he used his full force to try to open the door. And he ended up breaking it and literally teared it off.

All the ladies in the gym gasped in shock while the other alphas were too stunned to speak. Bright is no different as he looked at the door on his hand with a wide mouth.
But nothing surprised him more from seeing Emily and Shadow's face. She was the one who's trying to open the door from the outside.

Bright lets out a panicked groan as he started bolting away. Forgetting about the door on his hand. Shadow who is as quick as a flash immediatelty went after him, leaving Emily with the rest of her pack.

It's not that hard to spot Bright because of the big ass door he didn't even notice he was carrying with him.

Why is she following me??!

Bright was having a mental breakdown after seeing Shadow when he looked back for a second.

He ran as fast as he could but even though the alpha is far from him, she is within his sight and it is far too impossible to lose her. She is also swift and agile for no reason.
