Bright was frantic as he ran out of the building. Searching for a secluded place to hide and found himself in an old room filled with old and broken chairs. The place seemed to be where the school would store some of the stuff that aren't used anymore.
The vampire paced back and forth. Thinking of a better decision he will proceed with. Because his future now depends on whatever his decision will be.
He's never been this anxious and scared before. For once, he wanted to enjoy something so bad and now he put himself so close to the same person he's been running away from all his life.
Although the dean does not look like Bright's mother. But Bright is aware that one of their allies can help others change face. That vampire had done it to many others to send them as spies.
What he couldn't understand is why his mother would be the dean of the school pretending to be a nomad. She is also one of the three who built the school from rock bottom and taught everyone to unite.
It doesn't make any sense! It just don't!
Bright is so frustrated in his mind. He can't keep still as he continues pacing back and forth while nibbling on his thumb anxiously.
What if she sensed that it was me?
But that's not possible! Is it?!
Bright lets out a frustrated groan and grabs anything his hand reaches and throws it to the wall. The poor old chair crashed into pieces, but it didn't end there as Bright continued throwing things trying to quiet the loud anxious questions in his mind.
"What the fu*k are you doing here!?"
Bright flinched when a familiar voice rang through his ears. He quickly turned around seeing Shadow with a furious face. Her arms crossed as she stood by the doorstep.
"Get the hell out! This is my spot!!!" Shadow yelled at him as she walked inside the room.
Bright blinks his eyes and scans the walls of the room. Eventually noticing claw marks. Which happens to be an act for wolves to leave their marks in their territory.
"S-sorry. I got lost." Bright muttered as he walked past Shadow and left the room.
Their shoulders brushed together since Bright was in a rush and couldn't avoid her right away. But as soon as Bright got too close to Shadow, she caught a whiff of his scent again.

"Where've you been? I thought you're gonna cut class on your second day." Nicholas whispered at Bright as he sneakily leaned a bit closer to him.
They are currently in their history class where everyone sits inside a proscenium hall. Bright came in 10 minutes late into the class which is their last subject for the day.
Maybe I should've.
The vampire thought and only shook his head as a response to the human.
He continued scribbling notes on his notebook and happened to look somewhere else aside the blackboard. His gaze then landed to his left, one row ahead where Emily and Shadow are seated.
And by all chance, the alpha is also looking at him. However, her gaze held no expression as she was just staring at him blankly.
More like studying him.
Bright quickly looked away and tried to focus on class. But he's either distracted by Nicholas who shows no interest in history. Or he'll catch Shadow intentionally staring bullets at him.
