A tense silence settled into the room as the children left the room. Megumi tried her best to be calm but the mere presence of the western lord, plus the angry air that came from the young Kizoku was very overbearing.

"I-it seems that something ha-has upset you all...." Megumi gulped, beads of sweat forming on her brow when flares were sent her way "If I can ease your minds on anything..."

"Oh, something as greatly upset me Megumi-San" Shihiro purred, leaning forward with his elbows on the table "I have a few questions that you must answer truthfully ok?"

"Y-yes sir!" She whimpered

"Perfect!" He chirped as his companions just lounged back, allowing the kizoku to lead.

"Now when we first arrived in your lovely town. You told us this all happened months ago correct?"

"Yes"

Sesshomaru watched his soon-to-be mate (it is obvious that Shihiro will choose this Sesshomaru) practically interrogate the poor woman. The kizoku weaved his words around her and everyone could see she was barely keeping up.

"You said that odd weather was normal yes?" Shihiro grinned, watching megumis' facade start to crack. She grew frustrated as Shihiro started to repeat questions, just rewording them to sound different.

"For the third time yes. Odd weather, change in weather, sudden unnatural weather" she sighed "lord Shihiro, with all due respect. I've been answering your questions for some time now. Is all this necessary?"

Shihiro hummed, tapping his cheek in mock thought "I guess you're right...I have one more question though"

The temperature of the room seems to suddenly drop. Megumi teased up seeing Shihiro's eyes become cold as ice. His lips twisted into an ugly sneer.

"Why are the male children of your town working in that disgusting slaughterhouse? Why do they believe they are the men now when they are still young children? Why do they seem to not miss their fathers as much as they should? Hell, even the young girls seem to not miss them as much either. No crying child or woman still mourning their missing husband. Three months is a short time to get over the feelings of losing a loved one" Shihiro was growling by the end of his rant. Which he was internally cursing himself for going off again.

The two demons in the room watched in shock while the kizoku hissed angrily.

Inuyasha, being half-demon, saw a soft shimmering royal blue aura veil around Shihiros' body.

To Sesshomaru, however, it was like watching a supernova. Royal blue aura flared and swirled around. Pops of color and light reacting to shihiros growing frustration. The demon lord could feel a faint pulse of yokai coming from within shihiro. The feeling and sight started to fade once the kizoku rant was done.

Sesshomaru placed his hand on shihiros arm in a small offer of comfort.

"You've been deceiving us human..." the demon lord took over the conversation. Megumi stared in shock, her mind still reeling from all she heard.

"I.....I don't know what you're talking about my lord.."

"Oh I think you so" Sesshomaru gave a small cruel smile "You know exactly what this Sesshomaru is talking about"

"The truth will come out tonight Megumi-san. Whether you like it or not" Shihiro sighed.

There was a tense silence. Megumi tried to catch the eye of the other occupants of the room, praying for some sympathy from the other humans. She was severely disappointed to see their disgusted looks. Even Inuyashas glare was harsher than normal. She had no way out of this and she's starting to realize that.
