It has been three days since we've started out journey to the north. Not much has happened thankfully. The occasional demon appearing, but weak enough to be taken down but one of us.
We've passed y a couple towns, all have similar rumors going through.
There are hoards of demons flocking to the north. The 'Leaders' gathering all these demons have had a surge of power which is assumed to be thee work of a jewel shard. There were also sightings of giant wasps hitch only meant one thing.
'Naraku is involved in this...' I grimace, feeling a headache forming at the thought of that wretched man.
The sun was starting to set when we came across a village to possibly stay the night. I tighten my hold o Ah-Uns reins and follow the others to land near the village.
Of course group of people traveling by two headed dragon and twin tailed cat does gain the attention of fearful humans.
While Miroku does his thing to try and get us a room for the night, I slid off Ah-Un to stretch my legs for a it and survey out surroundings.
The village is one of the smaller ones we've come across. From whaat I can see there are a handful of huts scattered around, a shed or two, and a small rise field.
'If we're lucky they could spare us a hut for the night' I sigh, slowly paying attention to the people Miroku is speaking to.
A couple old men in plain clothing meant for field work and a middle aged woman wearing a simple grey kimono. I couldn't hear what they're talking about but judging by their faces it looks like were camping tonight.
The others seem to have the same conclusion.
Kagome and Inuyasha already grumbling under their breathes, Sango with an annoyed look on her face, Rin and Shippo unbothered as they play around our legs.
I huff, grabbing the dragons reins to turn them around when Miroku turns with a disappointed sigh "lets find a camping spot quickly"

"Having Ah-Un around seems to be making it extra difficult for us to stay anywhere" I frown, running my fingers through ruins hair "its been two weeks and every town or village except for one has turned us away.'
We were set u in a small clearing once again. Rin and Shippo already asleep on mine and Kagomes laps respectively.
"If they can't accept all of us then there's no point for any of us sty there anyway" Kagome huffed with her arms crossed.
"Most dragons are seen as uncontrollable beasts to humans" Sango grimaced apologetically when she saw my upset expression.
"I understand that humans, especially in this time era, are fearful of demons and the unknown. It do they not use logic? They see us fully riding them, they have a saddle, reins, and muzzles for Christ's sake!" I sneer at the air, remembering the peoples faces the moment they see the dragon.
"The northern demon lord is a dragon so its no surprise that the deeper we head into their territory the humans will get more fearful" Inuyasha scoffed from the tree he settled himself into.
I pause, tilting my head "the northern lord is a dragon huh...." I tap my fingers lightly across reins back as I think.
The others must have noticed me getting lost in my head as the conversation lulled till eventually we all fell asleep.

The net morning we started to travel by foot to give Kirara and Ah-Un a rest.
I walk a bit slower behind the group with the dragon. It was a nice day out and we've already made good progress in our travels. We deserve to be a little lazy.
Kagome seemed to be having a very animated conversation with Sango and Miroku. Inuyasha, of course, was ahead of everyone being impatient as ever. I turn my head to see Rin and Shippo chasing each other through the brush of the forest that lined our path.
I hum, running my fingers over the scales of Ah-Uns neck, the dragon letting out a rumbled purr, leaning heavily into my touch.
'I wonder what type of demons the other lords are? West is lord sesshomaru, a dog demon and the north is said to be a dragon. Japans history is riddled with dragons so its no surprise that one would be a demon lord...'
I spend a good chunk of time mentally listing out the types of demons I've encountered or heard about.
It was nice that our adventure hasn't had any major bumps yet....
A/N: I AM ALIVE ONCE AGAIN. It's been a wild ride in my life rn lol. I had gotten sick, went to Dallas collect-a-con, did some vending at conventions, AND got fired from my job in September ;-; so ye. But I now have time to type out and post the chapters I have written down now! So there's a plus side to my now abundance of free time.
