"LOOKS LIKE we'll be safe in here, for now." I said as I looked at my comrades while we are all inside this tavern.

Lucky for us, no one came back to check this place so we can rest here for awhile.

Greenrebel sighed, sitting on the floor with tired hands. "Good to hear then, captain."

"Akala ko talaga katapusan na natin kanina." saad ni Dice. Isa sa nakaligtas naming kasamahan.

"But too many of our comrades got killed in the process. It's too much to handle this overnight. Nakakainis, bakit ba bigla-bigla nangyari ang bagay na ganito?" nakakuyom ng kamao si Shald. Isa rin sa nakaligtas sa amin.

"Tama ka. Walang ni isa sa atin ang umaasang mas malaking gulo ang kakaharapin natin do'n."

"That's supposed to be just a simple rescue mission for a day." Dice said again. "Lalo pa at kasama natin si captain kaya't kampante tayong magiging madali lang ito."

"Wala ba kayong napapansin?" Ani Wolf8. All the heads turned to his direction. His back is pressed against a wall right beside a blinded window.

Kunot noo si Dice na nagwika, "Napapansing ano?"

"The betrayals amidst the battle." Astro is the one who answered it. Nilibot nya ang tingin sa amin bago nagpatuloy, "Malinaw na kasabwat ng iba sa atin ang mga unmasked reapers na 'yon. Nakita ko mismong pinatay nila ang ilan sa mga kasamahan natin sa gitna ng pagiging abala natin sa pakikipaglaban."

Shald put his fingers on his chin. "Dahil sa sinabi mo, mukhang tama ka nga. Pero gaya nga ng sinabi mo, masyado rin akong abala sa pakikipaglaban para mapansin din ang mga bagay na gano'n. Ni hindi ko nga naisip na may gagawa no'n sa atin."

"Gano'n din ang nasa isip ko." dugtong ni Dice.

"By putting all of this incident into a single puzzle piece, pwedeng magkaroon tayo ng konklusyon sa mga nangyayari," sumabat ako't sa akin naman napunta ang mga atensyon nila. "First of all, set-up ang ginawang report patungkol sa rescue mission na 'yon. Secondly, we are already got traitors inside the base and prepared their plan of attack carefully to the extent of even jamming all our intercomms completely. And lastly, I didn't know how, but I'm deeply sure that they somewhat communicated with the all the reapers they can get and used them to annihilate all soldiers of the ReaperKiller Squadron at once."

"No doubt about that." Astro sighed, crossed-arms.

"So that means!" Wolf8 exclaimed.

Tumango ako nang tumingin sya sa akin na may pag-aalala. "They probably raided the base now and took over our territory already. And if bad turns worst.  They're all probably been killed by now."

Greenrebel beamed up from where he is seated. "Then what are we even waiting here for?! Let's go back and save them before-"

"I'll do it." I cut his words short as I also stood up. "All of you must stay here and get any better information from that man."

"P-pero, captain. Masyado silang marami kung lalabanan mo lang ng mag-isa." Wolf8 sounded worried so I glanced at him.

"Isa pa, kapag may nakita ka mang kasamahan natin doon sa loob o sa daan sa gubat. Malamang gawin nilang advantage 'yon at barilin ka ng patalikod."

"Don't worry about me. Such trivial informations will never slip through me." nagtungo na ako sa pintuan at chi-neck kung may tao sa paligid. "Just open this door if you'll hear or see me. 'Wag kayong magtitiwala kahit na kanino."
