The days passed and summer came to an end. Donnie and y/n were strolling through central park, trying to catch the feeling of the autumn air in their hair. The leaves were orange and crunchy, emmiting a cozy feeling all around.
Donnie and y/n were holding hands
- something that took Donnie time to get used to because he usually felt so awkward.
⚪"Do you smell this?"
🟣"Smell what?"
⚪"The cinnamon.."
🟣"Oh wait, I do actually"
⚪"Oh look! There's a churro stand right there. Wanna go get some?"
🟣"Sure"
They bought some churros and sat at bench that was a bit further from the busy paths of the park and the people.
Donnie finished his first. Y/n noticed he was looking at her.
⚪"What?"
🟣"Nothing. You're just beautiful"
⚪"Aww, I know" she giggled
🟣"Oh yeah?"
⚪"Mhm" she nodded
Donnie wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer, their faces close.
He smirked.
⚪"What now?"
🟣"Nothingggg, I just wanted so see your beauty up close"
⚪"Oh how sweet"
They leaned closer to each other in order to kiss but they got interrupted by y/n's phone ringing.
⚪"Ugh" she picked it up. "Yes?. What? Why? Ugh fine okay, give me 10 minutes" and she hung up.
🟣"What is it?"
⚪"My mom wants me back home because apparently she has something important to tell me or whatever. Why does she ALWAYS have to ruin it for us?"
🟣"Hey, it's okay, nothing's ruined. Do you want me to walk you home?"
⚪"Obviously"
*at y/n's*
⚪"I really hope she had a good reason to want me back so soon"
🟣"Just relax, okay? See you later?"
⚪"Yeah"
She gave him a quick kiss and went inside.
