I walked into the kitchen and found my mom over the stove, cooking

⚪"You're cooking?"

"Yes, I told Sharon to take the week off so she could rest. And I thought that since I'll be home all week as well, we could spend more time together"

⚪"Aha..."

"Well you're always out and we barely see each other, I missed your company. Who are you going out with anyway?" she said adding some spices to the food.

⚪"With Don-- Othello."

"Just him?"

⚪"Yeah... Why?"

"Nothing, I just thought you had met new people"

⚪"Nope"

"Well that's okay. You'll get to meet new people at school"

⚪"SCHOOL?"

"Yep! I enrolled you in school, you're starting in a week"

⚪"And you didn't even ask me if I wanted to?"

"Oh don't be so dramatic sweetie! It'll be good for you! And besides, you're gonna be a senior, you gotta experience prom"

⚪"Mom, I literally do give a shit about prom"

"Language!"

⚪"Whatever....what's the name of the school?"

"Oh come on! It will be fun! Tomorrow we can go back-to-school shopping!"

⚪"Yay!" I said sarcastically and went to my room.

I texted April to see if she goes to that school. But guess what? No she doesn't! Yayyyy! Cannot wait to suffer amongst strangers. I can't believe she really just did that without even asking me.

Needless to say I was in bad mood for the rest of the day. Not only did she ruin my date with Donnie, she also gave me the worst news possible. I was so mad I started crying (a/n: me core)

My phone rang and I picked it up.
