VERY Interesting Chapter

Donnie and I returned to my place so he could drop me off. I was about to say "goodnight" and close the front door when I heard my mom say:

"Honey wait, who's that?"

🟣"Oh, hi ma'am, I'm Othello Von Ryan, I'm a friend of y/n's"
(bro thinks he's sophisticated 💀)

"Oh it's so nice to meet you! Y/n, why haven't you told me about him? He's a really cute boy" she whispered the last part but it wasn't quiet enough.

⚪"Mom!" I said annoyed and embarrassed.

"What?" she then turned to Donnie. "Why don't you come inside? It's a shame for you to go since you guys were having such a great time"

🟣"Are you sure?"

"Of course! I'll drop you off later"

🟣"Wow thank you ma'am!"

"Just call me y/m/n" she smiled and went in another room

Donnie stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

⚪"Othello Von Ryan? Seriously?"

Donnie just raised his shoulders

⚪"Anyway, let's go to my room"

Donnie nodded and followed me.

We got to my room, I closed the door and we both sat on my bed. I noticed Donnie looked skeptical

⚪"Hey Don, is everything okay? You looked puzzled."

🟣"Yeah I'm fine, I'm just a bit shocked with something"

I got a bit closer to him.

⚪"I'm willing to listen if you feel comfortable with telling me" I gave him a reassuring smile.

🟣"Ah....okay..." he looked at his feet and seemed a bit embarrassed and nervous. Ngl, I found it kind of adorable.

🟣"Today at the rink when I came back from the bathroom, Haley complained about me not telling her I was in a relationship, implying that you and I were dating. Did you... Did you tell her that? Did you tell her that I'm your boyfriend?"

⚪"No, I didn't" I lied. This was my payback  moment for that stupid talk we had in his lab.

🟣"Oh..."

⚪"Why?"

🟣"Because, well, I didn't tell her that we're not actually together"

⚪"Really? Why? Were you scared or?"

🟣"No- no. It's not that I was scared or anxious or anything like that. It's just-.."

⚪"It's just what?"

🟣"Well, I liked the fact that she thought that I guess. I didn't want to deny it. The truth is y/n" he looked me in the eyes "that I like the idea of you being my girlfriend. I'd like for it to happen. If you feel the same way of course."

I was so anxious. I can't believe I just confessed to y/n. And what if she doesn't actually like me? What if I just ruined out friendship?

⚪" You really like me? "

🟣"Yes. I do. I have for a while now. It's totally understandable if you don't feel the same way, I totally respect that and if you actually don't, I hope I didn't just mess up our friendshi-"

I got interrupted by her connecting our lips. I froze. I didn't expect it. This was my first kiss, ever. She pulled away and though I was shocked, I felt sad that she didn't kiss me longer.

⚪" Well you ruined our friendship either way"

🟣"What? What do you mean?"

⚪"We can't be dating as friends"

🟣"So, d-does that mean?"

⚪"Yes." I smiled at his happy expression.

He looked so beautiful. His dark eyes gleaming with joy while his curls elegantly sat on his face, complimenting his features

I noticed he was looking at my lips. I put my hands behind his neck and looked unto his eyes.

⚪"Yes, we can kiss again" I smiled.

He smiled too and this time he leaned in and kissed me first. I kissed back. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer.

A few seconds later she pulled away. She seemed annoyed.

🟣"What's wrong?"

⚪"I can hear my mom coming"

Soon enough there was a knock on the door and her mom opened it and got in.

"I'm really sorry to interrupt you sweethearts but it's getting kind of late and I'm pretty sure Othello's parents would like him back home"

🟣"Right, yes, I'm so sorry for staying this late"

"It's okay honey, no worries. The car is outside, I'll wait for you there while you say your goodbyes" and she left.

Y/n stood up.

⚪"Bummer" she said.

🟣"We literally meet every day" I chucked

⚪"I know but she ruined a good moment" she said while hugging me

🟣"That's okay" I hugged her back "goodnight"

⚪"Goodnight"
