My fidus AchateS....

If you give me rain I will curl snuggly in the arms of my lover and warm myself in the embrace of their tenderness.

If you bring me peace I'll sleep soundly, shunning my mind from the raging world and its heathens.

Pregnant with a starry sky and a cloud full of angels, I will dream of my tomorrow even though my misery may deepen.

Old guard of the moons, I besiege thee that you may pour a mist over my fears and cover my shame in your blackness.

Until the day breaks and my hope is born anew, I only wish that you consider my furless nakedness,

to shield me as the sun hides the shadow at its peak and the cold disappears at the roar of the heat.

I prythee, you progenitor of the dawn, that when the light comes for me to go into it, you do not take from me the chance at a blissful day.
