It was LIFE all Over Again!
Lying in the dark, I closed my eyes
Wishing the pain and aches away--
There I was on a bright sunny day
A gentle breeze cooled my warm brow.
How lucky I was to be alive;
To witness the beauty of the trees and the flowers;
The birds, the squirrels, and the distant squeal of delight.
A flutter of leaves and the alertness of the doe.....
Where did my pain and my suffering go?
As if an angel touched my soul
And
Gave me another Chance
Gratified to my core.
I humbly accept this opportunity--
For another chance to savor the true flavors of being alive in vigour!
