"Is everything clear Miss Walker? please sign here and here."

"I - Who, yes that's clear. Who is Sara Walker?"

"Im sorry miss Walker, I'm here only to read the will and testament and gain the needed signatures. You will need to request that information from your father's solicitor, I can provide you his information."

"I also have a key to leave with you to what I believe is a storage unit." He hands me over a small key, attached to it is a card with an address and a unit number on.

I need to find out who Sara Walker is, what estate my Dad has in Austin, what on earth this storage unit has inside, and WHAT is going on with Charles and I.

I can only deal with one of these things at a time or I think I might explode, and right now dealing with the options involving Sara Walker or Charles is far too stressful, so the storage unit it is.

As I'm facing the door locking up, I feel arms wrap around my waist from behind me. He plants a kiss on my cheek as I'm turning around. "How did it go baby, is everything ok."

Is he insane, No? No it's not ok.

"No, why were you 5 hours."

"I was just talking with Charlotte, and explaining things to her. Everything is done now and she has the answers she wanted from me so you have nothing to worry about."

I really don't even want to get into this right now, and no amount of closure or explaining should take 5 hours.

"Great, I'll see you at home later then." I say as I jump into his pista before locking the doors and quickly pulling away. If I get no real explanation and left wondering for hours, then so does he. And he can walk home.

1hr 36 minutes. The journey time that appears as I type the storage facility address into my maps. I look at the route and notice exactly where it is.

He's taking me back to my favourite roads.

Around a 45 minute drive outside of the city is where some of the most incredible roads can be found, my Dad and I used to take this route and drive back and forth over 20 minute stretches of the winding mountainous roads at dawn before any cars were ever on the roads here. It was our own race track.

I've never been back here or even driven myself much after my accident, and certainly not fast. Suddenly in this moment I feel like everything's in its right place.

The sun is setting, an orange and red glow reflects off the sea as I'm driving along the mountain side. In Charles' Pista, about to drive my favourite roads in the world - on the way to see what my Dad has in store for me. For the first time in years, I can't wait to drive, I have no fear at all just excitement.

The sun has set by the time I reach the deeper mountain roads, I realise after a certain point that I remember each turn, each drop and rise in the road - what speed I can pull before I absolutely have to break, it all comes rushing back to me. I know these roads better than I know anything.

I take a deep breath, and I go. Pushing this car to its absolute maximum, there's no low speed corners along this next 5 minute stretch of road and I know I can take it almost flat out, it's incredible, I feel like myself again for the first time in a long time. I love this car. I love driving.

I'm flying down these roads, only 16 minutes out from the storage facility location when I'm met with another car on the road for the first time this entire journey. A dark blue McLaren appears behind me out of nowhere, keeping pace with me every turn, every straight. He try's an overtake as I move into the centre of the road not allowing him to pass, I'm glad there wasn't any oncoming traffic or that would have ended in disaster but this is the most fun I've had in ages.

Beginning to slow as I enter the car park of the storage facility, I notice the McLaren still directly behind me. Strange.

We park up, he jumps out and starts to approach the car. It's Lando fucking Norris.

I get out the car and he's pretty startled, "sorry, I thought you were - oh wait it's Lilly right?"

"Hi Lando, I'm assuming you thought I was Charles?"

"I did, I wouldn't have pushed you so hard if I knew it wasn't him, you did okay though I suppose."

"I think you'll find I was absolutely the better driver" I smirk.

"Sure, if that's what you want to believe, we will go with that." He laughs and winks at me.

"Why are you here anyway? I ask. "You're giving off serial killer energy, how many people are being held in your storage unit?"

"Just 4 at the moment but 5 shortly if you like?"

"No seriously come on, why are you here?" I ask a little more directly.

"I'm moving apartments and have a few things to bring to put into storage, My new apartments fully furnished but it doesn't have much storage space at all. I'll need this for all my trophies and helmets and I just fancied a drive."

I couldn't tell for a second if he was joking or not about needing a storage unit for trophies, but I don't think he was.

"So are you going to tell me why you're here? Flying along the mountain roads in Charles car coming to a pretty shoddy storage facility in the dark alone?"

"My plan wasn't ideally to be here alone and I only found out this unit existed a couple of hours ago, but its been a really shitty day. I don't want to get into it if that's ok."

"Sure, is there anything I can do to make your day a little less shitty?" A cheeky smile covering his face.

"And what are the chances of me still getting your number."

He's so blunt and dry and sarcastic I can't help but smile at pretty much everything he says, he just has this aura of complete un seriousness about him.

I begin walking away towards the direction of the units, "if you're still here when I get back, and then IF you manage to beat me back to Monte Carlo, I might give you my number."

What am I doing.
