All the 7 members of the Bangtan Mafia were sitting in their chairs while all the other guards were standing as the King was giving all of them death glares after finding out that one of their missions just failed and were unsuccessful to catch a guy who just burned their warehouse
"So we couldn't even get him on our security cameras?" Taehyung asked,anger was clearly visible in his eyes.
Jin sighed as he replied, "He somehow hacked our surveillance"
Taehyung slammed his fist on the table making everyone flinch. "How the fuck is it possible our surveillance is supposed to be unbreakable."
Namjoon looked at the files as he replied, "We underestimated this guy, but we won't make that mistake again. We'll double down on security measures and analyze every problem in our system."
Taehyung nodded and looked at Jungkook "I want all his information about this guy."
"Consider it done." Jungkook replied confidently.
Hoseok tapped his fingers on the table and expressed his doubts. "But there is something I don't understand, why the hell did this guy suddenly decide to attack us."
Namjoon looked at Hoseok as he answered "We might have made enemies or this guy wants to send a message to the underworld."
"We are the most powerful mafia in all of Asia, This guy is playing with fire and he is going to get burn" Yoongi said with fire in his eyes.
Taehyung looked at all of them and nodded, "He'll regret challenging us once he sees the consequences. No one defies the Bangtan Mafia and gets away with it."
As their discussions continued for half an hour soon the discussion came to an end as everyone started to leave Taehyung turned to Jungkook
"So Jungkook How is your sister doing?"
Slightly taken back by his question as he never asked about his sister, why would the king of the Bangtan Mafia, the king of the underworld, asking the well being of his elder sister?
"She is... She is doing fine. We met this morning after I returned from the mission. She is just busy with her company and stuff."
"Actually we met yesterday at the meeting she came on the behalf of your father."
"Right Appa got the flu actually but he still wanted to go but eomma insisted him not to so he sent Jennie noona"
Taehyung nodded as he said "Your sister is really impressive, Kook."
"Yeah she is when she sets her mind on something there's no stopping her."
"I can see that. It takes a lot of courage to step into a room full of powerful businessmen and hold her own."
"She's been through a lot, and I guess that's made her even stronger. But I worry sometimes, you know? The world we live in is dangerous, and I don't want her to get caught up in any of it."
"I get it, Kook. I want to keep her safe too. If anything were to happen to her because of me."
Jungkook changed the topic by saying "What is the time?"
"It is 11:30 am."
"Shit, I have a date! Remember the girl I met at the grocery store? We exchanged numbers, and we're going to meet at a cafe."
Taehyung chuckled as he said, "Yeah, I remember. Go ahead, Kook. Have a good time on your date."
"Thanks, hyung. I'll catch up with you later."
As Jungkook left he chuckled again at his excitement then his mind drifted towards Jennie. He had been thinking about her since yesterday. He went outside and saw Jimin waiting for him.
"I got good news for you Tae"
"What is it?"
"There is a party, it is hosted by one of the most elite families."
"You know Jimin, I hate classy parties."
Taehyung was about to walk away when he heard Jimin.
"The Jeons are hosting this party."
Taehyung stopped in his tracks as he realised that Jennie and her family were hosting this party. Taehyung turned around.
"Well I am going," Taehyung said without hesitation.
Jimin's tone changed into a teasing one, "Looks like the king of the underworld can't wait to see his sweetheart again."
Taehyung rolled his eyes as he replied, "Shut up Jimin, it's just a party that's all."
Jimin chuckled knowing his friend was lying. He saw how his eyes lit up when he heard Jennie's name.
"Just a party huh? I bet it's more than that considering how you can't stop thinking about her."
"Shut up."
Taehyung left before Jimin could tease him again which made Jimin laugh.
