Chapter-23, Scene-1 ❛ Hand in hand, into the moonlight❜

When the doors to the garden opened, to the younger it felt like he had entered a whole another dimension. An absolutely stunning piece of land, like heaven itself had ascended down the lowly dusts of earth,filled with the lush richness to the extents of wherever the eyes took travel down the vastness.
If only this piece of heaven could be described by words, the most renowned of poets would be ready to sell their soul to sing out it's glory for everyone to hear.
As far as Jungkook could see, greenery, which appeared to be basked in silver under the bright moonlight, stretched wide in all directions. Trimmed hedges adorned with the crowns of multiple variety of flowers - most which Jungkook had never even seen before, lined the stone walk threaded along the entire path. Mini lamps lit with small flames lined the said stone walk, illuminating the way. Right in the middle of the marvelous sight was a giant fountain made of white marble and intricate designs - the water it splayed sparkled and gleamed as if made of stardust.
If only words could truly do justice.

Jungkook's eyes held a glimmer like that of a thousand suns. He let out a deep breath, forgetting everything and melting right in the beauty of the moment, "Its beautiful."
Taehyung, with a wave of his hand dismissed the guards stationed at the entrance of the garden before leaning in on his ear and whispering in a husky voice, "Told you so."
Jungkook flinched slightly due to the sudden hot breath fanning his ear and the proximity they shared. The feather like kisses Taehyung had left on his cheeks still felt fresh and he couldn't help but feel very very conscious of the older's physical presence.
A very large presence.
The brunet cleared his throat, trying to sound unbothered. "Can we take a walk?"
"Absolutely, we can do whatever you wish. There is only one condition and you seem to be following it pretty well.", said Taehyung with a smirk, raising their intertwined hands up between their chests. Jungkook tried, but his attempts to keep his blush at bay ended up in epic failure.
